I’ve had Chef Tony’s food before at his food truck. I expected the restaurant to deliver the same freshness and quality, and it absolutely did. I had the grilled shrimp and mango bowl and the lobster dip. Both were fantastic. The portion sizes are large and won’t disappoint. They also offer Spring Gate wine, beers, ciders, and a few different cocktails. Great way to spend an evening. I’ll definitely be returning.

Wonderful NEW bistro in the heart of Linglestown just minutes from downtown Harrisburg. The abrieviated menu of large portion world-class cuisine for super reasonable prices can’t be beat!! The limited bar menu offers a sufficient selection of craft beers, wines and “cocktails”. Daily specials available. Great place for a quick dinner bite, date night or social gatherings. Live entertainment too. HIGHLY recommend!!

I’m new to the area and thought I was taking friends in town to Black Rock Brewing. (because there is a Google listing that restaurant still exists) We pulled up and saw signs for Chef Tony’s, which I recognized from Spring Gate. So I thought, ok, we’ll try this anyway.
When we entered it smelled rather musty; a man stood behind a counter, and people were seated at one table. We weren’t sure if the man at the counter with the case of drinks behind him was a take-out counter or a host stand because he didn’t greet or speak to us. I asked if we were to sit ourselves, and he replied, you can do whatever you want. We were still completely confused; a very large menu was on a TV screen beside him, and the drink cooler was behind him. We manage to get it out of him that we are to get drinks with him. He doesn’t explain that we need to order our food, and then someone will bring it to a table we choose.
When we finally get it out of him, what we are actually supposed to do. I end up ordering a glass of chardonnay, a bison bacon jam burger, and hand-cut fries. $32 for those three items. The burger was a thin overcooked, dried-out patty that looked like a frozen cheap patty, and the bacon jam was basically bacon bits on my burger. Zero flavor. Highly disappointed for $32.
The place looked disheveled like they rushed to open, things stuffed behind counters, a floor polisher sitting in the corner, the smell. The staff.
When we went to leave, it was dark, there was no lighting walking out back to the parking lot, and it wasn’t easy to see. Bad experience all around!
Apologies for the pictures of my half eaten food, but I didn’t think to take pictures until I realized how terrible it was for how much I’d spent on it.

Cheese Steak egg rolls are excellent as were the asparagus fries. My wife had sirloin medallions, I had the bourbon ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection and there was no need for a knife. It was so tender and delicious. Alexis was our waitress, she was very attentive pleasant and was on a mission to make sure everything was perfect for us. Which it was. It was an honor to meet Chef Tony in person and we will absolutely be back.

Husband and I decided to go out to Chef Tony’s for a birthday celebration and we were not disappointed! We ordered a bourbon spritzer, loaded fries, and the smoked brisket Mac and cheese. The food was delicious! Drink was amazing! And our server was absolutely fantastic! All around will definitely be coming back, especially when we don’t feel like going all the way out to SpringGate.

Tried Chef Tony’s food recently at their food truck during the Elizabethtown Fair. I’ve been going to the fair since I was a kid, and can confidently say this is some of the best food I’ve ever had there. One night I was in the mood for something less heavy, and decided to try their General Tso’s Brussel Sprouts. They were cooked perfectly, doused in a wonderfully sweet and spicy sauce, accented by crunches of peanuts and bright pickled onions. After this overwhelmingly positive experience, my partner and I came back the next night for cheesesteak spring rolls and a shrimp bowl. Both were packed with flavor and made for a surprisingly elevated fair dinner. Cannot wait to swing by their main location in Harrisburg to try more of their tasty offerings!

Made our 1st stop @ Chef Tony’s Bistro last evening. What a nice surprise. Welcoming, helpful staff. Interesting menu items. We opted for a number of appetizers to share for our table of four: these included Mediterranean Calamari, General Tso’s Brussel Sprouts, Asparagus Fries, French Onion Toast, & Petite Sirloin Skewers. All were nicely presented with spot-on interesting tastes. We finished with the Bacon Jam black angus cheeseburger — perfectly cooked & wonderful. Overall a great experience. We’ll be back to see the Chef & his staff!

Went there with a group to see natalie ness perform. We did sides as appetizers, had truffle fries, calamari (which was done perfectly), asparagus fries (yummy) and hands down the best, the general tso brussel sprouts. The portions were amazing for the price. We then ordered a shrimp mango bowl, a beef tips portobello mushroom bowl and bison burger with bacon jam. The “cocktails” were wine based a pleasantly different. Everyone left stuffed with delicious reasonably priced food. Jonathan one of the owners came several times to the table checking on our satisfaction. My only negative were the bistro seats, after spending 3 hours they were a bit uncomfortable. Next time we’ll sit on the leather lounge chairs. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
