We came in on a Thursday at 1pm and they were a little busy but our server was on top of everything, even offering us bread from Malone’s. Ordered a Lexingtonian salad (my only complaint; ordered dressing on the side but didn’t come that way. Salad comes with too much dressing for me) and Wagyu burger and both we fantastic. Gave military discount for both of us despite one service member.

Just a hint to anyone in the service industry at all , if you want a tip then engage the customer one time at least, I tip no matter what but honestly I felt like kind of a sucker doing it here.
If someone is by themselves and you say nothing to them at all, you were sending a very clear message. You don’t care about them why should they tip you?
Anyway, it was a bit later in the day and I felt like the upscale place pretty much phoned in the meal. It wasn’t bad but it definitely wasn’t what you’d expect at a nice restaurant. I could count the words that were sent to me by a service member while I’m sitting at the bar, not at a table at the bar, on one hand, I left 23 minutes before closing and they had blocked off with chairs the door that I walked in so I didn’t know how to get out.
They were about eight people in the restaurant and every single one of them cared about one thing, making sure that they had the place entirely cleaned up by closing time so they could leave immediately. That was blatantly obvious.

Service was friendly! Complimentary bread and butter was a good start to the meal. However, if you look up ‘mediocre’ in the Merriam-Webster dictionary, expect to find a visual aid with an image of the black bean burger and Thai salmon bowl. The former was bland and topped with cucumber slices thicker than a Pixar mom. The latter was too tart and—for lack of a better adjective—too wet. Did they give us an ice cold beer? They sure did. Glad I had a gift card.

Malones/Harrys Palomar: Ordered online pickup on 5/22/25 around 4-430pm and the food, service, everything perfect. Perfectly cooked and delicious! I tried the crab cake appetizer and omg it was best crab cake of my life and the remoulade sauce delicious! The side salad and steak perfectly done and scrumptious. The staff so courteous and hospitable. And it was ready early. Amazing. I’ll be back. I should have taken a pic of the crab cake but I couldn’t wait to eat it.

Terrible service. Our server (Mason) never took our food order. We literally sat for 15-20 minutes and watched him walk by 3 times. We weren’t looking at the menus; just watching him walk past us.
