The Pizzeria53SMA has in my opinion is the most authentic Italian tasting pizza I had in San Miguel. Starts from the flour that is imported from Italy, the high quality ingredients and specially their own sauce, Wow! The Sauce!!!!

This is a brand new place, but we went to check it out after our friend from Italy said it was the most authentic Italian pizza she had had outside of that country. It is a small and simple menu with unorthodox pizza choices. The ingredients and quality are very good, but if you are looking for conventional pizza, this is not the place for you.

Amazing Pizza! Must try if your in town. From the decor, to the place and then the taste its a nice experience and great tasting pizza. This was our last night in SMA, and we ended up here for dinner. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed delicious cocktails and two pizzas, Margherita and Eleanora – both were AMAZING! The red sauce was delicious, and the fennel sausage was incredible. Don’t even get me started on the pizza crust… YUM!
The ambiance was great, and Manuel, the restaurant manager, was an absolute delight. So friendly and attentive. We never wanted for anything. We will be back to SMA in January and will definitely be coming back.
Oh, I almost forgot the dessert. We tried vanilla ice cream with a candied prune. I was very concerned as this is not something I would normally eat. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty this was. Certainly a recommendation.
If you’re in town, this is definitely worth a visit.

I own a pizzeria and many people say my pizza is the best in Mexico or even the best they have ever had in there life. Pizzeria 53 SMA is better. I hate to admit it but it is better. Anybody that says it is too expensive or that the pizza is too small doesn’t know anything about quality, high class, artisan pizza. A first class place. Also Manuel made us feel at home. First class service and first class pizza.

Absolutely the best. Maybe the best meal I had in SMA. Manuel was an amazing server and knew so much about Italian cooking and ipa beers. I was extremely impressed. Highly encourage this place.
