This place was awesome to eat at. After traveling 2 weeks from Florida to Arizona this was the best place we ate at in the last 2 weeks. They’re Chile is the bomb. And a must have is the chili cheese fries. I highly recommend the place if you’re looking for good at home cooking

A great place to grab a bite to eat, with lots of options on the menu. Solid Tex-Mex options with a New Mexico twist, and also some American foods for the picky kids. I like spicy food and Fred’s certainly satisfied me on that level. But know that it can get busy, it seems to be a popular place for a reason!

Always friendly service and fantastic food. If you stop in check out the local favorite the X-Con a large beef and bean burrito smothered in the famous green chile. If you’re in the mood for a little but of everything try the combination plate. I’ve never found anything not superb here.

Heading back to Dodge City, Kansas from Ruidoso. Stopped for the night here because I had to see Billy the Kid stuff. Ate here for supper. Had the blue corn tortilla enchilada plate and Fred’s Frozen Margarita. Darn good food and drinks. Awesome service. Another plus is they also own a liquor store out on the side. Kill 2 birds with one stone. Highly recommend. Thx, Chris.

Great food and service. Only reason I didn’t give a 5 is they advertise via road sign as a lounge and on the internet as selling cocktails but they don’t, no liquor license!!!
