This is a terrific old school locals place that’s perfect for breakfast and lunch. Our waitress (alas, I forgot her name) was just super! Attentive and friendly, easy to interact with and didn’t give us “the bum’s rush”. I met a dear old friend for breakfast. We both had different, but traditional Southern country breakfasts and couldn’t have been happier. The food was delicious and served hot with portions generous at very fair prices. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a secret find! We were looking for a breakfast change from the New Day Cafe & Farmhouse and spotted Gaylyn’s diner. Becky greeted us with a warm, kind smile and we grabbed a window booth.
We ordered French toast, eggs, bacon, wheat toast & OJ. It was beyond delicious, quality food cooked with love …

Great service, reminded of growing up in Nash County and getting food from the gas station before the fast food restaurants came. Nice this burger with chilli and we’ll done fries with a glass of sweet tea! Will definitely be back!

Food is amazing and the price is old school. If you’re looking for original prices before all the price gauges aka inflation! With food that exceeds your expectations this is the place to go! It gives breakfast dinner vibes with fast food prices. And the customer service is amazing. I love this place 10/10.

This is you local gas station/convenience store diner. It is tucked away next to the Citgo Gas Station and in the same building as “The Pop Shoppe”. When you walk in the door for the convenience store you go to the right and it is right there. You may say that is an unusual place for a diner but the surprises don’t stop there. This place is absolutely spotless. Even the decorations on the window sills are clean. The service is very friendly and attentive. To start off the breakfast you have to start with coffee and their coffee is fantastic. I just started drinking mine black and this coffee was a pleasure. It was not bitter at all. The food is prepared for you and not just cooked and served. I ordered an omelet with a side of bacon and my friend order scrambled eggs with a side of bacon. He asked to have his bacon well done. I then asked to have my bacon crispy. The two orders of bacon came out perfect. His was noticeably well done but not burnt and mine was perfectly crispy. Breakfast was great and this is totally a hidden gem. Go out and look for this place you will be amazingly surprised.

Excellent breakfast! It was exactly what we were looking for. A little funky, with a friendly staff, and a perfectly cooked breakfast. Don’t let the gas station throw you off, the diner is worth stopping. I just wish we had known about it sooner. Our new Leland breakfast spot!
