The steak itself was a good size and cooked EXACTLY how I asked. The steak was piping hot when it arrived and tasted much better than I expected. It was full of flavour and thick, as I would expect from any good quality steakhouse. I recommend anyone dining should ask for the House Special sauce, it’s really good.
The staff at Steak Inn are welcoming, polite and effecient. I was seated relatively quickly and my food was both ordered and served in reasonable time. The brother who owns this restaurant has done a fantastic job and I can tell he runs the business with pride, as he should.
The bad part was, we got our bill and never got the change back. The waiter assumed the tip was nearly £9 and took that choice away from us. This has never happened to us at any dinning establishment, and ruined our experience. We were planning to leave a good tip, but this was not the best end to our night. Waiters were either greedy or did not know the etiquette of giving the change back, for the diner to decide the tip. THIS IS NOT AMERICA WHERE A TIP IS MANDATORY.
Overall food our very over priced for what it was, service was slow and cash-only adds another inconvenience. Ambience was noisey and very loud music. It was tight to walk around and when people block the aisles with buggies, it makes it a fire hazard. Only 1 toilet cubicle for male and 1 for female, which means you have to wait.
Service: 10/10, the customer service is always impeccable and does not disappoint each time I visit.
Food: 10/10, the steaks as well as the sides are amazing and keep me going back again and again (mashed potatoes and the house gravy are especially exceptional).
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food was delicious, the best I have tasted in Glasgow in the last 4 years. They reminded me of Sahara Grill in Ilford, London but at almost half the price!
Portions are very generous for the price, we couldn’t manage to finish ours so asked for the left overs to be packed as take out which they did!
Will be going back soon!
I ordered Lamb Masala Steak 2 sides consisting of spicy rice, peri chips and fried egg as a topping with House special sauce. Size of the portion is quiet good. Lamb Masala Steak was equally marinated making it taste really nice and was not over spiced. I got it as a medium cooked which kept it soft and full of taste. Portion of peri chips was good and equally seasoned with peri salt. House special tasted very nice along with the fries as the masala Steak was good on its own with the Rice for me. Rice tasted nice as well but the only thing I would say to improve was to have mild hot tray instead of really hot. As the onions placed under rice and the chips on really hot tray resulted in onions getting burnt and chips stuck to the tray.
I will certainly will be going again and price wise I would say it depends on what you choose but on average it will cost around £25 for one person.
Food is outstanding, presentation of lamb shank which is new on the menu was amazing, tender and juicy . The steak burger is a must try also.
Had to wait for a bit but in return got complimentary starter while we waited so can’t complain (maybe a bit too much iceberg for my liking).
Will be coming back for more and it’s HALAL!!!
Fantastic service, smart, cosy restaurant! If you’re a steak lover, then there’s no better place in Glasgow. Getting a table here is hard as they are very very busy so book in advance. Amazing food, the manager is amazing and very helpful. The service is excellent, as was the food. Burgers are epic! Try the Dynamite Prawns and Dynamite Chicken starters.
Highly recommended!
