I visited because of the overall positive reviews on this site. I thought the food was OK. I ordered the lunch special with sweet and sour pork. I liked the fried rice and egg blossom soup. I also ordered sweet and sour pork to go. It was OK. Kind of tough. I noticed several customers ordered large bowls of soup. Several customers seemed to be regulars. I would like to return and try something more traditional like soup. Some reviews said the service was awful. I had excellent service. The restaurant has a bit of an attitude. Next to the register is a sign that says “Anything extra costs extra!”, or something like that.

This is my third time here and the quality of the food and service have been excellent every time. I’ve come during dinner rushes, and also during slower periods and it’s been such a pleasure every time. My favorite order is definitely the Village Chop Suey over chow mien. It’s loaded with delicious veggies, chicken, pork, shrimp, and a savory sauce all atop noodles. I love their house made chili oil so I was recommended to try the dish made medium spicy today and there’s no going back for me now. Absolutely delish, the perfect kick, depth of flavor, and freshness from the veggies. A favorite of ours is also the fried shrimp. Love this place and we will continue to return and support. Thank you!

It’s an older place that could use some upgrades, but the food is good. The prices are high and they charge for everything extra. I understand but some items are ridiculous. My husband wanted extra wontons in his soup and they charged like 3.00 per wonton. Maybe consider a bulk price for like 3, 6, etc. But a 3.00 each … no thank you.

What a goldmine find lol!
Stumbled across this place randomly during a long drive from Yosemite to San Francisco!
We love a Chinese and the food here is delicious, it’s crazy cheap compared to our prices in the UK lol, fantastic options and very friendly staff! Highly recommend the lunch option – you get sooooo much for your money! Big portions – the noodles were just fab and the soup no idea what that was lol but it was so good and light on the stomach!

The food and pricing are great, it’s a small restaurant with amazing food, love there cashew shrimp taste so fresh and sweet. For the price it’s worth it very affordable and yet filling and satisfying. Love their food always great portions. It was a symphony of flavors and spices. Overall great food highly recommended based on quality and quantity. A very delicious meal every time.

I have to say I ate here once before and thought it was good enough to go back. However, in attempting to dine in I was told that they were closed for dine in services even though there was still 1.25 hours until closing. Major turn off and the food isn’t that good to overlook crappy dishonest service. I’ll never be back and would suggest you don’t waste your time either. Ridiculous you have to guess if and when they are open for dine in.

To sum it up, the food is delicious but the service is terrible. I’ll start with the pros. The food is delicious. No doubt about it. The noodles in chow mein aren’t extra watery but just right. The portions are sizable. You’ll have leftovers, for sure. The atmosphere inside is comfortable and calm, quite enjoyable for a meal. Here’s where the problems arise. The girls the work the front of the house lack people skills. They are straight up rude. Mind you, they are young and have attitudes like they just graduated from high school but that’s not an excuse to how to treat people. It shouldn’t matter if it’s a customer or not. You don’t treat anyone rudely, in general. For example, I walked and there was a waitress at the front. I made eye contact, smiled, said hello. She just ignored me. I felted disrespected and like as if I wasn’t welcome. Anyways, I brushed it off, thinking it wouldn’t be a big deal. When my food was ready, she practically slammed the plate on the table, ask if I wanted anything else, and was quick to turn around and walk away. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but I didn’t feel very comfortable with the attitude she was giving off. Anyways, I come for the food, not to be serviced. If I could, I would rather pick up my food and walk to the table myself. It’s just disappointing that people don’t treat you as a human being.

Possibly the best Pot Stickers I have ever eaten, they were made in house. Most places give you 5 and they said we would get 8 but they gave us 9 for under 10.00. The chop suey chow mein was perfection, hot vegetables but still have a crunch. Sauces were well balanced and portion sizes were spot on. If I’m ever in town I will definitely eat here again.

Its ok place. You order by plate. Like panda in a way. Prices are $10 or so depending what you get. Noodles where hard on half of my plate and the other part soft…not sure what happend there. Orders some other stuff but to be honest the food doesnt really have flavor its ehhh. My stomach and my girlfriend started hurting we didnt even finished it half ways and decided to pay and leave. To each their own…but i dont really recommend this place. Staff took a while to ask us what we wanted or what drinks. She was busy talking to someone and laughing. Took around 10 min from time we arrived to getting our drinks and another 10 or so min to get our food. Food looks good but…….
