What a lovely restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere, Andres the owner went around every single table and greeted all his customers. That alone sold me on this place but the food was incredible and it was fresh! Very happy customer and will be coming back.

Quiet, unassuming, and easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The Greek food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, generous portions, and unbelievably well-priced.
What truly made the night special was the hospitality. The owner and staff treated us like family from the moment we walked in. Warm, genuine, and incredibly welcoming. They even surprised us with a few treats, just because.
I was there with coworkers, and they couldn’t have made the evening any better. This is the kind of place that reminds you why great restaurants matter—amazing food, fair prices, and people who genuinely care.
We’ll absolutely be back.

This place is even better than the reviews describe. Service and staff are quick and kind. Food is unbelievably good, I felt like I was eating a beautiful home cooked meal. All the ingredients were fresh and I felt like it was made with love. I will absolutely be eating here again in the future and highly recommend Mesoyios.

I have been passing this place for 15++ years and never went in until today. I had no idea what I was missing.
It was beyond excellent. Especially.. especially the service. We were treated so very well. Like you were at someone’s house more than a business.
From the homemade bread served 1st to the shots of Greek water at the end and everything in-between. If want a great meal at a great price for all you get this is most certainly the place for you.
The chef also came by to ask how we were doing.
The menu is vast.
I chose the Greek meatballs with lemon potatoes and grilled vegetables. Which was Excellent! Came a salad . Caesar for me. And I love when it’s chopped for easy consumption.
Definitely coming back and sooner rather than later for sure. Sorry it took so long. I have been missing out!!

The place has a really cozy atmosphere and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food was flavorful and tasted authentic — especially the kebab and appetizers were delicious. Prices are fair for the quality, and I’d definitely come back again to try other dishes!

Love this restaurant! Food was very tasty and everything was super fresh. Souvlaki and mixed meat dishes were amazing and brought us back to Mediterranean for a moment 🙂
In addition to great food, everything was very clean and our waitress was really really nice.
At the end we had a great chat with the chef (I assume the owner too).
My family loves Greek/Cypriot cuisine and this is definitely one of the best Cypriot/Greek restaurants in New York if not the best. Can’t wait to go back!

Highly recommended! Incredible experience, the personal feel of the small, family owned/operated restaurant made every moment memorable. The food was made fresh for every plate, the lamb plate and kebabs were DYNAMITE! Thoroughly impressed with the price-to-quality ratio! Huge bang for your buck with TONS of delicious food. Even had some to take home for 2nd dinner! Well priced bottles of wine and a very pleasant evening.
The head chef and owner even came out to check on us and ask about our dinner (even got complementary sambucca!)
