The subs are great and so are the fries. However, this experience was awful. We stood in line waiting to order with no one in front of us for about 5 minutes. Then when the lady came to take our order she was very rude and standoffish. This was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a dining establishment. The only reason I didn’t give it one star is because the food is so good.

Clean store with courteous staff. Penn Station grilled sandwiches and fries take a few minutes longer than other places but it’s worth it. They fry the fresh cut potatoes when you order. The Italian is delicious and has an excellent melty cheese and savory meat flavor. Fries are made to be slightly brown on the edges and that’s not to everyone’s liking.

The best PENN STATION in the Louisville Kentucky. Located at 2204 Heather Lane(Bardstown Rd.) 40218. Employees are so kind and extremely helpful. My sister and I eat there regularly and THEY ARE always friendly. The restaurant is extremely clean. They take so much pride in their jobs.They make the best subs. Give them all a raise! We would drive a hundred miles just to eat their subs and see their smiling faces. So appreciated.The crew is THE BEST. We talked to the Manager about the excellent service. You have a wonderful crew.

Got the Reuben, sub of the month special. Had more sauerkraut than anything. Tasted like eating a vinegar sandwich. Also, while I was there a lady came in wanting to know why the app wasn’t working. Started cussing the staff out for it. I checked myself, there is not a penn station app. Then the lady still wanted them to make her sandwich after being wrong & cussing them out. I had a video, but I couldn’t get it to download. Staff was very nice. Food was not worth the $14. Won’t be back.

Worst Penn station in Louisville
Charged me three times for an order that never went through. Called the store and they said a manager would contact me. Needless to say, they never contacted me. Three payments of $15 and no food. I called the store several times and got the same response, manger will call you. To date I have not gotten a refund or an apology!
Update: snack size sandwiches are a joke! For $3 you can get a double cheeseburger. These mouse sandwiches are an insult, see the pictures! If they don’t delete them! You have not contacted me. This place is a joke. The last picture is if a $13 blt.

On 10/06/2022 I went to this Penn Station location to get a Philly Cheesesteak with no mushrooms and regular fries and no drink.
What the issue I have with this order is that the person who was serving the food had no gloves throughout the whole process.
While I was getting my food I also noticed that one of the employees was in the back laying on there phone on top of boxes that were for food.
When I got my food It was $17.79.
I had to go across the street for a bit but when I came back around 7:36 I asked them to remake the sandwich.
I didn’t touch the food I returned it with nothing touched.
When I went back and they were remaking the sandwich , I could tell they were saying rude things behind my back.
I will not be coming back to this location. For Penn Station in Louisville AGAIN.
I should not have to advocate for my food safety like this. Please look into this.

Horrible, horrible customer service!!! You will never see me in that restaurant again!!! We went into the restaurant on Sunday at 8:15 we placed our order and stood in line waiting to pay for a while. When the girl rang up the order she gave my friend in front of me my total and gave me her total. When our food was ready she gave the lady that was after me her food. My friend in front of me got her order before the lady before her. When the lady 2 before me got her food she asked for sauce and the girl just walked away from her. The lady behind me asked for no bacon and got charged for bacon. She was upset and asked for a refund. When we got our food we went to set down to eat and the girl yelled at us multiple times that the lobby was closed and we couldn’t eat in the lobby. We told her that it was 835 and we still had plenty of time to eat our food because the door said that they closed at 9 PM. She told us that she asked us if we were dining in or carry out. She never asked us no such thing. She told us that if we did not leave they were calling the cops please check your cameras. You will see how they kept yelling at us across the counter to get out of the lobby, and threaten to call the cops on us. Never again will I ever deal with that place again. If you want to continue with a good business that girl needs to go because she has definitely ruined it for me and my family. I am in management and I know that is not the way to have customers treated. I am sure your first thought is it’s hard to keep help. But if you continue with that type of customer service, you won’t have a business to worry about to keep help.
