The staff here are excellent people and good at their jobs. From being a friend on a slow day to the locals to filling every cup on a game day with a packed to the max bar and floor. Its one of the friendlier bars around, more simple. Homey. Ok to good food. Better the more you drink. Good prices. Better atmosphere if you give it a real chance. Will come back anyday until it closes up if the staff stay like this.

As soon as we stepped into King Street, I had one thought: we should’ve turned right back around. The place was sweltering, packed with fans fresh from the Hawks game, and the atmosphere felt more chaotic than lively. I’d been here years ago and remembered it being decent, so we decided to stick it out. Big mistake.

The moment our food hit the table, I was transported straight back to my grade school cafeteria, where the chicken tenders were lukewarm and the potato salad was a mystery best left unsolved. This potato salad could’ve easily come from one of those industrial silver tubs wheeled out by a hairnet-clad lunch lady. Paying $16 for this sad excuse of a meal was both disappointing and absurd.

Now let’s talk about the burger that arrived alongside the melancholy tenders. It was flavorless, dry, and somehow managed to skip basic condiments, no ketchup, maybe a whisper of mayo if you squinted. The presentation? Nonexistent. The chips were still in the bag. At the very least, pour them onto the plate next to the burger to make it look like someone cared.

If I owned this bar/restaurant, I’d seriously reconsider the entire food menu. To top it off, the table next to us left behind half a pizza and my friend and I genuinely considered grabbing it and making a run for it. That should tell you everything you need to know. I’m honestly still laughing over the presentation of the meals.

Gem of an establishment. Wandered in here 2 weeks ago to watch a Seahawks game. It was exactly what I was looking for. King Street Bar isn’t trying to pretend to be anything it’s not. They’ve got cold beer and mediocre food, which is priced as such. By far the cheapest and most extensive happy hour menu I have encountered anywhere. Prices between $4-$10 aren’t screaming “this will be the best food you’ve ever tasted”, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Service was great, vibes were 15/10. This establishment really hit the mark for me.

This is a cool place for games for sure. I got 2 doubles of jack and coke and it was $80.

I thought the dude told me $18 but nope it was $80.

I had also ordered a calzone that I never got because the guy said someone else took it. Not sure if the guy charged me for the calzone I never got but whatever I wasn’t gonna argue. $80 seems steep but maybe they figure people will pay that inside the game anyway

It was a great atmosphere but I was a lil disappointed I didn’t get to try the food. It looks like people loved the food so maybe one day I’ll get to come back to try it. But I won’t be getting drinks again lol

Look, this isn’t a 5* bar experience, this is your neighborhood bar experience “where everyone knows your name”, it’s clean, it’s properly lit, it’s priced appropriately and the food is quality. Is it extraordinary? No. Is it utter un-eatable? No! The drinks were strong, the service swift… All in all its exactly what I’d expected from a basic sports bar (not putting down basic sports bars! You’re needed in society or else why would I be here!!) those 1* rates had different expectations of what they were getting, definitely recommended for those who want a quick drink and bite with friendly service and absolutely will be back next time I’m in Seattle! (meatloaf sliders pictured come in 3s…i had to eat one before writing. They’re very good, basic and very good)

The bar was a cool atmosphere but that’s about all it had going for it. I now understand why they did not have a line like the other places during Morgan Wallen. We ordered buffalo chicken tenders for $16 and we got what looked like 2.5 microwaved chicken pieces from Safeway. We did not receive sauce or napkins after asking numerous times. The drink I got was also $14 and was sized for a child. The waitress would not let us exchange the chicken and offered a discount….of $1.64. We left and will not be back.

Went for an early dinner before the Green Day show, not many people in the place. Ordered the Sicilian Calzone, King Street Calzone and chicken cordon bleu bites. The Sicilian was the clear winner. Both were big. Service was good.

Haven’t been in SODO for several years. Use to frequent this spot. Grabbed a Lime bike and went there tonight only to find out they don’t have a fryer anymore. Was looking forward to some bar food(burger and tots). Per the bartender, it’s been 5+ years since they’ve had one. Time to update website and pics. Clearly states it’s on the menu, and the HH menu. Also in pictures as recently as a year ago.

OMG the calzones were soooo good, so gooodd! Like best I have ever had, fakey but crunchy. The sauce was delicious and so full of fillings. Delicious.

Took about 30 minutes for anyone to notice we sat down- but once they did food was worth it.
