I’ve eaten here many times and I really love the food here. It’s different from a lot of places but the price is very good for the portions. The lunch specials in particular have made eating here regularly very affordable. I love the way everything tastes, but especially the refried beans and the fajita steak. The meals are always somehow both nostalgic and refreshing at the same time. We consider eating at this place a special treat in our household. I would recommend giving this place a try if you’ve never been here. Everyone is very friendly and courteous.

My wife’s taco salad was filled with spoiled lettuce. You could smell it. No apologies. Still was charged full price for an uneaten meal. I’d starve before I would go back. Trash!

Everything else has been great. The Shrimp Cocktail: Inedible.
I got a shrimp cocktail to go, along with 3 other plates. The texture of the shrimp was like biting into neoprene, and had a super fishy smell and taste. I had to pick out all the shrimp and cook fresh shrimp out of my own freezer.
Even after putting fresh shrimp in there, the cocktail sauce still had that bad shrimp flavor In there so i had to dump the whole thing out. I don’t know if the shrimp was way too old or way overcooked, but it was definitely the worse shrimp cocktail I’ve ever had.

Food was not good. Restaurant was slow and it still took 45 minutes to get food. When food arrived, part of it tasted like it had been frozen, defrosted and still had the water ice melt on it.

The food is very good. It is not the texmex that you would find in Texas, It is more authentic to mexican food. It is a small Cafe style restaurant. Please note that the service can be slower, but it is all worth it. I would recommend this place!!

Taco Tuesday in the evening equals $14 plus tip for 3 small street tacos, a 1.5oz queso and an unsweet tea. Apparently taco Tuesday is “only in the mornings” tacos were amazing, salsa was watery to point of not staying on a chip, queso had a powdery texture, chips were authentic and tea was fresh

We’re new in town and wanted to try this restaurant. What a wonderful experience! The food was fantastic. The chips were fresh and hot, the guacamole was delicious and my chimichanga was so good. My husband had a steak burrito that looked really good as well. It’s a small restaurant, maybe only 7 or 8 tables and the bathroom was very clean! We will definitely be back!
