This place might not look like much if your a tourist. It’s small and old-fashioned. If you’re a local, you know you never go by appearance. Ya just gotta try it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and love to chat with you. Even when they are busy, they do an incredible job of keeping the wait time short. And then there’s the food! I ordered the pulled pork plate with coleslaw and bake beans. It’s so yummy-liscious that you’ll be wanting to come back many more times! It’s a must for some southern experience!

Good people and fantastic barbecue.. This place isn’t open all the time but if they are, and you happen find yourself there? You Are In Luck~! Seriously Good Barbecue.. Not only the barbecue but the side dishes are off the hook.. You only think you’ve had good baked beans and potato salad.. I can’t quite figure out how they’ve done it? I’ve never tasted anything quite like it.. It’s defiantly well worth a special trip to give it a try.. You won’t be disappointed..

Sunnyhill BBQ is the best! I had to drive about 110 miles but it was worth the drive. Very clean and fast friendly service. I recommend this BBQ resturant to all my friends and family.

I do my best to make it to Sunnyhill on smoking weekends. Absolutely the best BBQ I’ve had! Plus, at the holidays you can order deep fried turkey or ham. The ham was amazing!! Great food–including a lush potato salad ( I order two of those..one for each hip), lovely restored interior and a heck of a swell staff.

Favorite BBQ place around!! Ribs are meaty and tender!! The BBQ sauce is so good it’s drinkable! Brisket is awesome.. I always get extra and put on a salad! And the potato salad is sooo yummy!! Open every other weekend!!

We are frequent road trippers from stlouis and love bbq food. We have eaten bbq across the country and I can honestly say this was the best bbq we have EVER had. The brisket is so tender you almost need a spoon the eat it, the chicken is smoked to perfection, and the ribs don’t need a drop of bbq sauce. I could go on and on about how good the food was but you should just hop in your car and go find out yourself!
