This was my first time here and I went around 8:40 p.m. the cashier guy through the order window was patient with me as I tried to get familiar with their menu. My son’s love Taco John’s and I needed to get them some dinner and figured I’d try this place out.
I spotted the six pack and a pound special and remembered my son’s liked that, and purchased it. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and the cashier mentioned that it was steak Thursday or something like that and I ordered the special that he mentioned. Cost about $16 for my food and son’s food. Food order came fast and well prepared. I feel that the value for the money was good.
My taco and burrito were on a whole new playing field of flavor and ingredients. Out of familiarity, I tend to go to Taco Bell and not try other taco type fast foods. But should you compare the two, Taco John’s is top notch for taste, value, customer service. Taco John’s delicious food felt like I was eating authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend this Taco John’s. I didn’t go inside the store since they were closed inside but drive-thru was open. I appreciate the staff for being patient with me and making my first experience a good one. Thank you!

We will probably never go back to this location. We went through the drive through and the girl working the window had an attitude. We receive food and were not given the receipt. As we pull away we checked our food. The potato ole’s were stale and barely warm. We have to go back through widow because Lobby is closed. Girl with the attitude from before doesn’t say anything just walks away and comes back with the night manager who immediately has an attitude. We tell her our Potato ole’s are stale and she argued with us that they weren’t , they were just made. Not wanting to deal with her attitude, we ask for our money back. She slams the drive through window on us after we told her we didn’t have a receipt since we weren’t given one, and slams it again when she have us our money back. We wound up getting Taco Bell and had much more pleasant experience

I’m from out of town and remembered eating here the last time I was in town. My brother and I went through the drive thru. The gentleman that took my order was nice. Got 2 soft shell tacos meals. Drive up to the window, got the food VERY quickly. Drive away from the window and park in the parking lot. I went to eat one of the tacos within a couple minutes and it was ice cold. Went back to let them know the tacos were cold and one of the staff members accused me of lying saying he doesn’t remember waiting on me. He was not the one that did, it was another guy who was at the time of my return outside taking a break, I would assume. I had my receipt, I had the cold tacos, yet this particular staff member closed the window in my face, not caring that I could prove I was just there. They replaced the cold tacos and the lady who gave them to me was extremely rude! I have never been treated like this, I am shocked! Before accusing someone of lying look at all the facts! I will NEVER go to this location again and I will definitely not recommend it.

This Taco John’s has really gone down hill. I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt if they were short handed but the day I came through they had ample people just standing around looking at their phones. This wouldn’t be a problem had they been getting food out in a timely manner but that wasn’t the case either. To top it off they made my meal wrong, it was just gross and the potato oles seemed like they’d been sitting there all day. I’m very sad about this because this use to be one of the best Taco John’s in the area in my opinion and now they’re definitely the worst. I hope they turn things around before it gets shut down.

He didn’t want to learn to my full order, forgot to ask about sauces with the meals, forgot 1/3 of the order and the food was cold when we got it. 2 stars came due to the supervisor giving a 10% discount for the issues we had with ordering and allowing us to drive back across town the next day to get the oles they forgot to give us when our meals came out.

Like most taco john’s it is hit and miss. Sometimes it awesome, sometimes it is barely edible and sometimes they aren’t open when they should be. If the oles are fresh, hot, and seasoned right it somewhat makes up for how long the taco “meat” has been sitting there when you go two hours before close and it is all dried out. When the oles are soggy and cold it doesn’t. Breakfast occasionally they have a sign up saying they aren’t open because they don’t have employees, but when open the sausage breakfast platter is good. Lunch they are the most consistent with the food quality.

Never went here before tonight. Kids love this place. Bought a 6 pack and pound for my teenager and friend and steak taco for myself. Went through drive thru and employee on intercom was super helpful and friendly. He patiently waited for me to check the menu out since I was unfamiliar with it. Highly recommend this Taco John’s.

1st off the night, Manger needs a raise. I have never seen a smoother operation.
I ordered a chicken taco, and they had to make fresh ones. I was informed it would be a 4 minute wait. I said no problem and continued with my order.
The communication was excellent.
Night manager oplogized for the wait personally and let me know next time I came she would have chicken tacos ready.
I saw Employees cleaning, and after I ordered through the drive thru I went inside and the place was spotless.

Their sign says we are open! Fun fact, they are not open! However a nice worker ignored us in the drive-through. Doors were locked 1007 on a Sunday. No signs posted saying they were closed, opening late, or that their hours had changed. Do better Taco John’s!
