Had a great pizza from this place a few weeks ago. Didn’t realize how nice it looked inside. I plan to go back soon and have seat to try their meatball parmigiana sandwich.

*update* Went back a week ago and had a great sit down meal with my son. The lasagna was delicious and so was the meatball parmigiana sandwich.

An absolutely wonderful place to have a great Italian meal
Armetta’s Italian Grill and Pizzeria is just off Prince William Parkway near Minnieville Road. I think it is a local treasure. It was easy to find as it is tucked in a small shopping center right beside the Prince William Parkway on the north side of the road. It is only minutes from Lake Ridge and Old Bridge, with a huge, well-lit parking lot, so parking should not be an issue. Inside, the atmosphere is casual and family-friendly. Seating is wooden chairs with tables with a fruit design around the edges. You enter and are greeted by hostess. We did not have a reservation and, yet, seating was immediate. The staff was absolutely wonderful even though it is a popular place and our waitress was pretty busy. We got dishes of fettucini alfredo, spaghetti with meat sauce and a cheese pizza. We shared all the dishes between us and still had plenty to take home for extra meals later. The restaurant was kept very clean. The food came out quickly and it was absolutely wonderful. Prices were very reasonable despite the giant servings. If you’re anywhere near Prince William Parkway and are craving authentic Italian-American comfort food done right, Armetta’s is definitely worth the stop.

I ordered a pizza and when it arrived the entire box was drenched in oil — completely soaked through. I called the restaurant to let them know, thinking they would want feedback, but instead the owner told me to “go ahead and post a review.”

So here it is: the quality of the food was unacceptable, and the customer service was even worse. I expected a simple apology or solution, not attitude. Definitely disappointing, and I won’t be ordering again.

We had pizza at a competitor’s restaurant a couple of weeks ago that had very good pizza but the ambiance of a franchise sub shop. So, when we had the itch for a pie today we looked for a new place. After searching online and looking at a few places nearby, we decided to give Armetta’s a try… and glad we did!

We had the Armetta’s Special Pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, green peppers, and onions and it was excellent. Everything was perfect from the fresh toppings to the well balanced sauce to a crust with a nice crispy bottom.

We chatted with the manager whose name I failed to get. He was from Sicily. Makes sense. The pizza certainly seemed authentic although I’ve never been to Sicily.

It is located in what seems to be a very new strip of retail. Kinda boring front the front, but inside they’ve managed to make a pleasant dining room with lots of Italian flare. Not exactly a romantic setting but certainly pleasant enough to bring the family, visitors or even a date.

In short, we were pleasantly surprised and looking forward to trying some of the other Italian fare. But, it’ll be hard not to get another pie!

recently visited Armetta’s, and had a good overall experience. The atmosphere was simple and casual, and it felt like the kind of place that’s great for ordering delivery or picking up food rather than sitting down for a long meal.
The pizza was definitely the highlight. It was very flavorful, with fresh toppings and a well-cooked crust. It’s a little on the pricier side, but the quality makes it worth the price.
The service was okay. The server was polite,
Overall, if you’re looking for really good pizza and don’t mind paying a bit more for quality, Armetta’s is a solid spot—especially for delivery or pickup.

Such a quaint and cozy little Italian restaurant nestled in a quiet community. We visited from out of town and we’re happy with the food, service and atmosphere. The seafood gnocchi, penne pomodore and meatball sub were delicious. Our server recommended the steak sub and it was amazing, so glad we tried it. Friendly establishment and prices reasonably with nice portion sizes. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Italian meal.

I made the mistake of taking myself and my 5 kids here on Valentine’s night. I figured that a nice plate of fettuccine Alfredo would do us good and I’d been meaning to check this place out. Seemed like a classic Italian restaurant that I could get reasonably priced food at. Not that night, they tried to get cute and make it a limited menu and jack up the prices for Valentine’s Day. I should have just left but I figured how bad could it be? Well for a plate of fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was $28. My bill was $176 for one adult and 5 kids. No drinks, just water. What a joke. The pasta and sauce were actually pretty good but the chicken was dry and bland. My two boys got steak instead of chicken and the steaks were small, over cooked and fatty. I couldn’t justify a tip, I felt bad but to charge that much was the real atrocity. Sorry Armetta’s Restaurant, I probably caught you on a weird night but it’s soured me in this place.

We went to dinner with friends who recommended this place. The food was great and the service was outstanding. The pizza dough was fresh and tasted great. Everyone at our table was pleased. We will be going back.

I ordered take out however was in the restaurant long enough to like the atmosphere enough to want to sit and dine-in unfortunately I needed to be somewhere. The service was great. Very friendly staff. I ordered the fried calamari and Rigatoni Vodka with chicken. Portions are more than decent and price is fair.

So let me take time to say this. Yes it’s a steak and cheese. For those who follow me. You know I have an issue with a place in Gainesville, Va.

Coming to Armetta’s today, I was really hoping for something spectacular. Again, it’s just a steak and cheese.

To a foodie and a critic, it’s much more than that. I have 3.5 million unique visitors with over 10 million page views.

I take pride in giving my honest opinion. Therein lies the rub. It’s only my opinion on a specific item. So with all that being said, let’s talk Armetta’s Steak and Cheese.

I recently savored a steak and cheese sub on a toasted roll from Armetta’s It was nothing short of extraordinary. The steak was impeccably cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. But what elevated this sandwich to greatness were the additional layers of freshness – the crisp lettuce and juicy tomato, adding a delightful contrast to the warm, savory steak. A generous smear of creamy mayo brought it all together, creating a harmonious symphony of tastes and textures that danced on my taste buds with each bite. This was not just a sandwich; it was a culinary masterpiece, a testament to the art of sandwich making. If you’re seeking a sublime sandwich experience, this steak and cheese sub is a true gem.
