What’s not pictured here? The red chili cheese fries we inhaled not even 2 minutes after they were sat on the table. Everything here was phenomenal, like actually beyond words. The vibes, the service, the staff, the drinks, the food, the sights; It’s all incredible. I kid you not this was some of the best food that we’ve had, possibly ever. Our server Bri, was incredibly nice and provided top notch service. We cannot wait to come back!

The food and service were exceptional. We were displaced for a couple of days, and I seized the opportunity to bring my husband up to the mountains. We were very hungry and stopped into this tavern.

The wings are smoked and then fried. We had buffalo sauce and the dry rub. Both were very tasty. The loaded potato soup was delicious. The loaded fries and roasted beet salad were great too.

The conversation with the bartender and locals was pleasant. If we pass through this way again we will definitely stop back in.

Not too shabby for a mountain tavern. Expectations are it is mountain town, so not to high. For what they serve and do pretty good.

Food is reasonably priced, good tunes, service can be slow, but that’s because there is usually only one or two servers. Food comes out pretty quickly though!

Overall, a pretty decent thumbs up for a mountain town!

If you’re wanting to stop while riding through the mountains, this is definitely a great place.

Cool little tavern on a hillside with great views, a beautiful outdoor patio when weather allows. Great atmosphere inside. Plenty of TVs around the bar if youre a sports fan. Good was quite tasty as well. Will definitely return

Don’t eat here. I repeat: Do NOT Eat Here.

Stop in for a beer, some chit chat, to watch sports or hang out on the lovely porch. The atmosphere is grand as is the bartending staff.

But save those hard earned dollars and eat elsewhere.

I’ve held back writing this review for over 2 years. It’s just not getting any better yet the prices are escalating. And believe me I wish I was praising instead of warning.

I wish we had somewhere with reliably decent food that had consistent hours in the canyon. I’m talking to you, entrepreneurs

New owners and managers have really got something special. Facility is upgraded, charming, and busy with happy patrons.
All ages crowd of mostly locals.
Menu is all American plus a few nice surprises. I had the chicken sandwich and green chili and it was really satisfying.
Parking can be tight when it’s peak hours.
Wondervue Cafe is same owner and about 5 minutes West on highway 72.

Formerly called the Last Stand Tavern
Nice little tavern in the canyon. They have your typical tavern fare and drinks. The view is really nice and I hope to check out their patio in the warmer weather.

My husband and I drove out of our way because of the great ratings , but we were highly disappointed ! Atmosphere , music and view was GREAT ! However the food was very disappointing and we had bought 3 different dishes , all 3 looked and tasted like they were thrown together with zero effort . Great place to relax and have a drink , but do not go for the food !

I stopped by to grab some food and was pleasantly surprised to find veggie burger on their menu. It was great, and they have a super tasty ginger beer to go with it.
I appreciated the attentive service a lot, as well as the nice view.
Thank you!

Friendly, local spot for food and drinks. Our server, Bri (similar to the cheese), was awesome and made us feel right at home. I asked for extra limes with my gin and the bartender made a point of providing more than enough. I had enough to make a pie after.

A better charcuterie board in a tavern is HARD to find. Looking forward to coming back!
