Loved the location, beachy atmosphere and view. We ordered food and my husbands came out but then mine was a 45 mins later! We actually thought he didn’t put my order in. The blackened chicken sandwich was good and I really liked the fries. We would come here again but probably wouldn’t order food.

We had tried three expensive restaurants near our resort. This place was recommended by someone who lives in Belmopan. The food was larger portions, better flavor, and I felt the tipsiness after 1 drink!! My kind of place! We had 2 dinners and a lunch here. Definitely my kinda place!! Food tried: cheese pizza, wings, fungi burger (posted below), lady sings the blues, cowboy chicken sandwich, fish n chips. All were delicious

We had the BBQ chicken pizza, Bacon and blue cheese pizza, chicken tenders and a side of fries.
Pizzas were great. Fries were unseasoned. No salt on the tables.
Had to ask for cutlery.
Waiter wasnt willing to omit anything from the dishes. If you don’t want it, you must remove it yourselves. (I prefer to ask the kitchen to omit ingredients so as not to waste unnecessarily)
Drinks were good.
The drumming was amazing. It’s what saved our evening.

My family and I went here three times while in Hopkins, and each time was delectable.
Every time while there I ordered the caesar salad without bacon and the fish tacos, and it was perfect. The fish tacos had the best sauce on them, and paired perfectly with Marie Sharp’s hot sauce.
My family recommends their pizzas and wings, and say it was TOP NOTCH. The wings were on the smaller side, but were still a good portion and were flavored exceptionally.
I tried all three of their specialty margaritas, and they were all so delicious I can’t recommend just one. I instead recommend doing what I did, and getting all three of them
On Tuesday night there was drumming, if you can make it when there is drumming you absolutely should! It was so fun to listen to, and people were up and dancing to it.

Food was excellent pizza is nice and crispy. We also ordered a pulled pork sandwich, and a mushroom bacon burger. They had a great musician entertaining for reggae night. He played more than reggae music. Great spot to get good drinks and food.

Pretty nice restaurant and beach bar. Food was pretty average, drinks were fun, but weak. They offer no desserts, but there is a bakery across the street. The best thing is the live reggae music night, and drumming night. Service was pretty lackluster. Be sure to use bug spray on your legs, especially at dusk, because most seating is in the sand, and there are sand fleas and mosquitoes present.

I got the Hopkins Hawaiian pizza. It was good but seemed like something out of a Digiorno box rather than made there. Felt it was overpriced for what it was. When I was done eating it took 30 minutes for me to get my check and pay and get my change. I wasn’t too upset because there was live drums going on, but still. It’s also a tourist hotspot. Didn’t see any locals eating there. So if you’re looking for a local vibe this is not the spot.

Whenever I’m Hopkins, driftwood is a must stop. We love their pizza and wings! We got introduced to it by some friends a while back and it’s been our go to for dinner or lunch. In the evenings they have drumming by local Garifuna men and great music that brings the place alive. Being on the beach is just a bonus to how great the food and vibes are. Oh and the bathrooms are always clean which is appreciated.

My husband and I had pizza here twice during our trip to Hopkins! The first time we ate there and it was so nice to eat our pizza with the beach view and the breeze! The roasted garlic pizza was delicious with lots of garlic and wonderful flavor. We also had a couple really good cocktails! The second time my husband walked down and got a pizza to go. Service was quick and friendly both times. Highly recommend checking them out while you’re in Hopkins!
