They have great Tiramisu and the Pizza is good when it’s cooked right.
The last three times I’ve ordered they’ve messed up the order, forgot something or burnt the Pizza.
Yesterday during Sunday football we ordered two pies. A large half cheese half pepperoni and a small white pizza.
We couldn’t eat the crust on either. We Only ate 2/3 of the pizza.
The cheese was burnt on both. Waste of $50

Charging too much to get the order wrong constantly or pizza so burnt you can’t eat it.

I think the decline of FNYP is finally complete. Ever the since the change in ownership, pizza quality had steadily gotten worse and tonight’s simple order of two large pizzas was proof they can no longer make good pizza, forget about being NY authentic. It was just plain bad.

The dough was dry, the sauce had no taste, and what little cheese was on top taste like it came from a box. I can only surmise they have been cost cutting and the quality of the ingredients are poor. Cheaper ingredients, cheaper pizza. We’ll be going to Bada Bing for NY pizza from now on.

I am really not sure what is worse, the food or the service. It is a true toss up. I spent $50 on a large “pizza” and a “salad”. I live 6 minutes away from the place and it took a solid 90 minutes to get my food. Never mind the order was incomplete but the “pizza” itself was so chewy that my jaw still hurts after attempting to eat the first slice. I took the rest of the order and scrapped it straight into my trash can. If you have no taste buds left and if you don’t mind waiting for hours, then this place is for you. If you are looking for a good pizza that gets delivered quickly, look elsewhere. This place sucks.

I wanted to love it, but I just couldn’t. I’ve driven by the one on the Parkway dozens and times so I was excited to realize we had one in Simpsonville. Unfortunately, our first experience fell flat. Both of the pizzas were very overcooked so the crust was like biting into cardboard. All you could taste was the burned crust. My son would not eat more than one piece, so we will end up throwing away almost a whole pepperoni pizza and half of our meat pizza. However, the garlic knots and marinara were great.

Walked in at 2pm and they still had lunch specials going on. Two cheese slices for $6! I got 1 slice and a side salad for $10. Great NY Style Pizza! Friendly service. It’s October. The place is all decorated inside and out with Fall/Halloween decor. You can tell they take pride in the place.

So looking at reviews I wasn’t sure about this spot. Seemed like a lot of variation in quality/taste of the food. But took a chance and glad I did. Got a traditional NY style cheese, had perfect cheese to sauce ratio, just enough crisp to not sag, not too salty. Definitely going back.

I have ordered take out here numerous times in the past 6 months. The sauce has no seasoning or taste to it; the cheese they use is cheap. The pizza crust just doesn’t taste good to me. If you order veggie, it’ll be so soggy , it’s disgusting. I’ve had numerous soggy, undercooked, or overcooked pizzas from here and it is nothing special. I grew up eating NY pies and this would be shut down up there immediately.

I had a craving for a meatball sub and this was the spot. 5pm on Sunday and it was not at all busy. Ten minutes after ordering, I had it in my hands. Toasted and crunchy bread, melty cheese, hot meatballs and sauce. A good portion and not too expensive.

The young girls who are working the register are polite and efficient. The restaurant is clean. It was a great sandwich and a great experience today.

First time at Frankie’s NY Pizza since moving to area!! If you’re craving an authentic New York-style pizza, look no further than Frankie’s NY Pizza! From the moment you open the box, the aroma of freshly baked dough and melted cheese hits you, instantly making your mouth water. The crust is the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are always fresh and generously portioned.

Whether you go for a classic cheese, a loaded meat lover’s pie, or their delicious margarita pizza, you can taste the quality in every bite. Frankie’s truly brings the heart of NYC pizza to town, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Now…let’s talk about the dessert!! If you’re a fan of rich, indulgent desserts, tiramisu is an absolute must-try! This classic Italian treat is the perfect balance of light and creamy, with layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and velvety mascarpone cheese that melt in your mouth. The hint of cocoa on top adds just the right amount of bittersweet contrast, making every bite pure perfection.

What makes tiramisu so special is its delicate yet bold flavors—just the right touch of coffee, sweetness, and creaminess in every spoonful. Whether you’re ending a meal on a high note or simply treating yourself, this dessert never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a decadent and satisfying sweet treat!

Just moved into the area a few days ago. As an Ex-New Yorker, I’ve got to say this pizza is the real deal! Very good! 5 stars! Can’t wait to order again!
