4.2/5 for the carnitas burrito. The place had a good character but the food was a bit overpriced. It was average and just lacked something special about it. Tortilla was too chewy and thick, carnitas had good flavor but was a bit tough. Friendly staff though.

Passed through on the way to Sequoia National park. Delicious!!!!! Worth the stop. Tacos are amazing! And burrito was so good too. I’d say the best tacos I’ve had outside of Mexico.

This was my first experience and I was blown away with everything! This establishment and everyone in it are amazing! The environment was so cool looking and very comfortable. The lady that helped us at the counter was fabulous! She helped me decide what to get and which salsa to get. I wanted some heat but not that would burn my tongue. She recommended the 5150 salsa and it’s was fantastic! It brought the heat with a beautiful sweetness.
The nachos that I got were awesome. The chips were so crispy and the beans, cheese, and cilantro were so flavourful! I and the chicken on it and it was fantastically flavoured! It was so good! It was perfectly seasoned and grilled.
My wife got the the OG and the shrimp taco and they were phenomenal! They were also prepared, seasoned and grilled to perfection!
Everything is made and prepared in house so it’s amazingly fresh! Their guacamole was fabulous!
This place is a true staple for Bakersfield.
If I find that they sell their 5150 salsa on a bottle, I’ll being be stocking up on that!

It Was good. I got the Carnitas Nacho Fries. The Fries weren’t all that crispy, but it was flavorful and tasty. The sauces were also good. I liked the sweet and spicy vibe with them. Nice and friendly staff.

The staff were friendly, the service was fast, and the tacos were excellent, HOWEVER, the decoration was sublime! Done in a southern California graffiti style, i felt right at home. The walls, the table tops, and even the seats themselves were covered with this uniquely regional artwork, and I felt like I was back in the old neighborhood. Even though there were only three tables inside the small eatery, we were able to easily find a booth inspite of a constant line of customers. Three or four (can’t recall) more tables were also offered for al fresco eating. Get in here and try this!

Fun, art-laden small joint with some of the friendliest staff and top-tier burritos. The Verde salsa is a must have, especially with your Caliguey burrito. The music tends to skew towards ska. On a particularly hot day, it’s best to plan to get your order to go; indoor seating is quite limited and there’s a bit of outdoor seating as well

This place was incredible! Literally one of the best burritos I have ever eaten (carnitas burrito). The staff was extremely friendly and I let them know I was on a tight timeline, so they got the food to me very quickly. A little in the pricy side but well worth it, with tons of perfectly cooked meat, cheese and filled to the brim with ingredients. Would 100% go back.
