Social Profile:

Stinky’s Bait Shack is Highway 30A’s only live bait retailer & outfitter. The Shack sits on a Coastal Dune Lake on the west end of Scenic 30A in Dune Allen Beach, Florida. Half bar, half fishing and bait fun shop, Stinky’s Bait Shack is the only place you can grab everything you could possibly need for a day on the water while not forgetting the real essentials – breakfast, coffee, a Bloody Mary and afternoon snacks. Open daily, The Shack is a popular music venue featuring local and visiting artists on stage by night. For the early birds, The Coffee Bar at Stinky’s Bait Shack serves Biscuits & Grits along with New Orleans roasted Cherry Coffee. One of South Walton’s most favorite local bars, we can’t wait to welcome you!

Comfy mainstay for seafood specialties, plus brunch & late-night menus & a hopping bar scene.

Stinkys Bait Shack is a true Florida classic. Only a quick golf cart ride from my house and every time I show up with my dog Vivian she becomes the best wing woman a man could ask for. Live music, cold drinks, and the kind of easy energy that makes you forget what day it is.

I have even caught some unexpectedly solid Phish covers here which is not something I thought I would ever say in a bait shop. Every once in a while you run into your kid’s old middle school teacher but everyone pretends it is normal and keeps it moving. And yes they really do sell actual bait right next to the beer. Florida at its finest.

The giant pretzels are elite. These pretzels are making me thirsty in all the best ways. Stinkys is exactly the spot northerners picture when they imagine Florida and for once they are not wrong. Always a good time.

Great shrimp po-boy. Watery gumbo. Ceviche was small and not that good. Nice views and decor. Looks like a great place for drinks and music, but we had lunch.

Stinky’s is a Santa Rosa Beach staple. It’s usually busy, so be prepared to wait, but they do have a “bait shop” where you can grab a beer or cocktail and wait for your table and grab some souvenirs. One of the best seafood restaurants in the area. Good cocktails and wine selection. The staff is always friendly and fun. I’ve never been disappointed and I highly recommend you stop in on your next visit.

Came here with a party of eight. We had the Seafood Chowder, Seafood Gumbo, oyster Rockefeller, for appetizers. Main course some had the Grouper others had the Scallops, and two had the Chicken Alfredo. The food was wonderful and our waiter, Scott S. was great and very helpful.

We loved the service and the atmosphere. The food was pretty good. We did find 4 hairs in our food, which usually would have made me leave, but in this case, the staff was so nice that we let it slide. We came to Santa Rosa on vacation and wound up really not liking the over all vibe of the county as a whole. We kept encountering very shady people. Stinky’s was the only place that we enjoyed and felt comfortable at. The kids fried shrimp is phenomenal! The Keylime Pina Coloda’s are to die for!!!!!
