A fantastic local ice cream maker. With delicious flavors (caribou caramel, heavenly hash, and banana cream pie, to name a few),

Our family of more than 15 people came to Odessa Creamery today as part of a memorial for my mother, who was raised in Odessa and whose family originally started Odessa Ice Cream. We had reached out in advance, but the owner was very difficult to contact and rarely answered calls. When we arrived, the shop had closed at 4—even though their posted hours say they’re open until 6. It was deeply disappointing on such a meaningful day for our family.

We walked in as they were closing but they still served us some delicious ice cream with a smile. My camera focused on them instead of the ice cream cone lol but maybe that was meant to be a shout out to the good service.

Such a great updated old fashioned ice cream parlor. Loved the decor and feel. Very cute! Great service from the girls behind the counter. We had Carmel ice cream and eyes wide open which was coffee. So good and the portions were huge. My family loved it!

We were visiting Odessa and just had to stop for ice cream. The flavors were phenomenal and the portions were ginormous! We all ordered a single scoop and boy to they pile it on. We were blown away by how much ice cream they gave us! I ordered the no-sugar-added Amaretto Almond and it was divine. Highly recommend!

We live on the east coast, making it a challenge to drop in and speak to employees to arrange a meaningful celebration of life for our mom. However, I tried many times to contact a manager or owner of this establishment, through phone, social media, and emails, to ensure we were able to bring a group of people to celebrate our mother’s life. After no response for a couple of months, a family member who lives nearby was able to speak to the owner. She was informed he did not want our group in the establishment until 5pm, and did not want us interacting with his other customers. Though this was not the welcoming response we’d hoped for, we believed this would’ve been a lovely way to celebrate our mom, a granddaughter of the original owners of the Odessa Ice Cream Factory. We arrived before 5pm and found the establishment closed, but waited until 5:15 hoping there was a slight chance they’d reopen. Unfortunately, they did not.

When it comes to small towns, finding a gem is worth any trip in my book. This such place really pulls out the small town charm and atmosphere when it comes to good classic dishes. I’ve had my share of Patty melts in my day, but this one, I can still taste it. The crunch of the buttery bread, the taste of the cheese, and onions melting together to make one damn good sandwich. Some places just have that appeal, and this is one of them. I do need to come back and get some of their great-looking ice cream

Delicious! We really enjoyed our waffle cones! We tried Gold Mine, Road Trip, Mississippi Mud, and Calypso Crunch. Great service and such a cute, nostalgic place to enjoy our treats! Would definitely visit here again.

First time being here! I chose two scoops in a bowl (I know, how can I not get a waffle cone?!). I got the Blueberry cheesecake to see how it stacks up to other ice cream places, and I tried something new so I got the toasted coconut. Both are so dreamy! They are thick and creamy, not so chunky and icy like you would get at other ice cream shops. Place was clean and smelled so yummy as soon as you walk in. It’s also situated right in the downtown business area of Odessa right next to antique shops! You could easily grab your cone and go window shopping!

What a wonderful place and fantastic atmosphere. It’s really something everyone should experience, an ice cream shop like this. The mix of vintage and modern industrial, PHENOMENAL food and great variety of ice cream really puts this place on the map. Pricing is in my opinion definitely reasonable. Staff is very kind. Shop is very clean. If you have kiddos, or a date, or just want to grab some food or dessert, find this place and find it first. Will be a returning customer.

Nostalgic decor pulls you in to a simpler time when ice cream was a penny treat. Many unique flavors dot the freezer with deep chocolates, creamy gold eggnog, and blue Superman swirls. The hot fudge is delectable; adding a satin swirl of rich, warm chocolate to every packed dish of ice cream.
