Was in the area on a whim to pick up some lottery tickets, had to make a u-turn after I passed this place.
Parking lot was full and that good smelling pit smoke had my full attention.
Had to park next door for a Saturday afternoon late lunch and now I see why.
The place is a small, old school style BBQ joint with an order window & pickup window. The front has been added onto to allow a little bit of seating.
Read the menu, order your food & pay, get a little buzzer and wait a couple of minutes for your food.
Ordered pulled pork sandwich, sausage sandwich & fries.
Fries were small crinkle cut type that were cooked right and had a decent bit of seasoned salt.
Pulled pork was good but more of a chunky, chopped style IMO. Slightly dry and no real taste of smoke. Sauce was like a sweetened ketchup.
The star of the show was the sausage sandwich or what I would call a sausage dog. Fresh out of the smoke and so plump that there wasn’t even a wrinkle.
It was HUGE!
First bite had that snap that told you it was cooked right and it tasted great.
Didn’t need anything even though I did try adding a little bit of mustard, the sausage was fine without any.
All I can say is ya better go get you some…

Small Town Hero
First time eating at Joe’s!! They were busy, so i had to drive around and park in a back empty lot. The prices were decent, and you got your worth in return. I ordered the Rib Tips combo with fries and a canned soda. Also, I got a polish sausage on the side wrapped in a bun. More than enough ought food for $15!!!
The wait time was about 15 minutes! It was worth it, tho. And the staff was nice and polite.

Visiting my dads hometown and couldn’t leave without having Smokin Joe’s. Had the rib tips, pulled chicken, pullled pork, baked beans and potato salad. Best BBQ I’ve had in forever. The owner treated us like his own family. It was a great end to our trip.

Stopped in Saturday afternoon. They were SUPER busy and with good reason.I ordered a whole slab of ribs. These ribs DO NOT NEED SAUCE!!!. They were perfectly seasoned, moist and tender. I also ordered the Q. I like my fries a little more crunchy when they’re smothered, they were still delicious. As for atmosphere, it’s a typical small bbq joint. You order at the window. You can sit at one of 3 tables on the covered porch. I will definitely go back.

The food nope. The bake beans was cold. The potato salad to sweet. And the ribs tough. Had to fight with the bone to get the meat off the bone. I just gave up threw the whole plate in the trash. Ill just stick to the one i been going to. Not worth the drive nor money.
