Buzzing ramen joint with housemade noodles & sauces, plus broth that simmers for 24 hours.

I think I got the netsu ramen and added some shrimp and mussels to mine or the Sapporo miso ramen or the Nagasaki champon ramen I honestly can’t remember well hahaha it’s probably most likely the Nagasaki ramen since that’s the one that comes with all those toppings and I had just requested it to be spicy (as it seems like they added some red bell pepper to it as well it made mine a bit more spicy) and my partner got himself from what it looks like to me a king shoyu ramen with its decadent layers. Regardless, the broth was absolutely flavorful delicious and mouth watering, the shrimp and mussels were cooked to such tenderness that the mussels practically slipped off of the shells, it truly felt like a very enriched bowl of soup and ramen and I really felt fulfilled my boyfriend mentioned how despite how he dislikes onions he really liked the green onions in his dish and was surprisingly very satisfied by how the boiled eggs and pork was prepared. We both extremely enjoyed the chewy yet crispy octopus balls (takoyaki) felt it was served to perfection and definitely had us feeling full and satisfied. Also I had noticed the servers were very attentive and helpful when serving us, extremely accommodating. ❤️

Food was great! Good spice level and generous with the noodles but, the broth was so good i wanted more of that instead lol.
Service was subpar, place was empty and we still didn’t get good service. We waited for at least 10 mins after they brought the to go containers before having to go up and ask for the bill. They said we pay at the counters which they didn’t tell us but instead just watched us sit not knowing.

The food was completely underwhelming! The pictures online and on their menu do not represent what you will receive. The Katsu Curry was fried to a crisp, refried. The Karage resembles minced chicken pieces the size of a dime. Not what you would expect from a highly rated establishment.

We’ve been to Kenzo for dine-in before, and had a good experience. The portion sizes were good, and food was decent.
However, today when I placed a pickup order, the portion size was very different from the dine-in experience. Just two pieces of pork in a bowl of Ramen, whereas dine-in definitely had more. Also, I had specifically requested the broth to be less salty, and I was told it isn’t going to be very salty, and I then changed the order to regular. Turns out, it was indeed very salty, in fact too salty for my kid, and he ended up not enjoying it – the one order I placed specifically for him, and took the pain to go and pick it up from the restaurant.

Amazing food and service. The best place to go for ramen in Oakville. Prices are reasonable and the staff are always friendly. The sitting area is limited but waiting times are not too bad. I hope they bring back the takoyaki!

We went to this place as a family to celebrate my nephews birthday. The place is fairly small, we had to wait like half an hour to get seated. After we were seated we had to wait like 45 minutes for our order to be taken because there is only one server taking orders. Of course since we were a group of 9 they couldn’t seat us together because we hardly found Table for 4 of us then after 10 minutes the other 5 were seated. When we ordered they also took like 40 minutes to bring the order which is fine but I didn’t like the long wait to order. Food was decent. I would go back since they have dishes that contain chicken and veggie broth. We loved the tofu and rice balls . We also liked the ramen and it was filling. Good value for the price but definitely they need more people to serve. I would go back but this time I will know that there is a wait.

The food could be worse but the potion sizes are laughable compared to the downtown hamulton location, miso was basically like drinking warm water and the katsu kare was sad, the lack of rice, the lack of curry flavor and the bland katsu was disappointing. Won’t be ordering again, would rather get from downtown.
Edit: I did forget to mention that the salmon onigiri was very good, only reason I didnt give 1 star.

We went again today. The ramen is pretty good. There are varieties for you to choose. Although the decorations are kind of wear, we enjoy the food and the cozy atmosphere.
I’m so disappointed that we visited on Monday and found that the restaurant actually closes on Monday to Wednesday. It’s amazing how a restaurant only runs 4 days in a week.

Great food! Very friendly staff.
The aburi charsu was melt in your mouth good. It was the best thing we ate.
We also had the tonkatsu ramen, pork soboro don, pork katsu don and the sopporo miso ramen.
The broth was delicious and the portions are big.
The Japanese cheesecake was really good as well.
The only thing we didn’t enjoy as much, was the salmon onigiri.
Definitely a place to return to.
Edit: server today was pretty unfriendly. Brought out our appetizers after the main dishes. Food is still the best.

I was looking for something warm and spicy on a cold day, and this ramen spot turned out to be the perfect choice. I’m not usually a big fan of ramen, as I find many of them too heavy on carbs with not much nutritional value, but this one was really well-balanced. The flavors were rich, and the spice level was just right, making it exactly what I needed.
The atmosphere is cozy, and it feels like a family-run local spot rather than a big chain, which adds to the experience. The staff were welcoming, and I genuinely felt appreciated as a customer. One thing to note is that they are not open every day, especially at noon, and seem to be closed two or three days a week. It’s a bit inconvenient, but aside from that, it’s a great place to support a local business while enjoying high-quality food.
