Awesome meal, that came only a few minutes after we ordered it. The ipad menus are a nice bonus as well as the great service. But the big attraction here is the food… we will be coming back soon!!

This place was great! I came here with my extended family looking for some good Mexican food and we found it at Mr. Cactus. The service was great and the decor was beautiful. The food looked just like the pictures on the menu (which was a tablet, I’ve never seen this in any restaurant before but I don’t go out much so maybe it’s not that unusual, but it was still neat and way better than a QR code). I would go out of my way to eat here again. Definitely recommended

First the tablet menu is very cool because you can see a picture of every meal & you don’t need readers to read it. Second, the homemade chips were delicious. Third, the service was incredibly quick. Fourth, our server, Yoselin, was so sweet and friendly. Fifth, the chicken and shrimp fajitas were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the birria burrito was yummy too. Great experience overall!!

Mr. Cactus in Branchburg is hands down my go to place for a casual meal with friends. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, I’m always warmly greeted and served a meal that’s both delicious and very reasonably priced.
The restaurant is located in a fairly obscure location in a strip mall but once you walk through the door it’s like a little slice of Mexico.
My favorite server is Moni who always welcomes my party with a smile & a desire to give us a good experience. I have yet to have nothing but and I eat there quite often.
The fish tacos are very good. My friend enjoys the burrito bowl. We’ve tried a number of dishes and have not been disappointed yet.
I highly recommend Mr. Cactus for lunch or a casual dinner that won’t put a hole in your wallet. I’m sure you will enjoy it.

We wanted to have dinner at a place close to home, and Mr.Cactus is pretty close.
The decor was awesome. Greeted kindly by the young waiter.
I had a soup and we ordered street corn for appetizers and veggie fajitas for our main meal.
Loved the liquid part of the soup and usually I don’t prefer shredded chicken.
Street corn tasted real good but there was slight doubt as to the freshness of the corn.
Veggie fajitas was awesome as well.
Will go back to try the other dishes.

We had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and perfectly prepared. The service was excellent from start to finish.
Our waitress, Dulce, was outstanding, very friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. She truly made our visit even more enjoyable.
We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Mexican food and exceptional service

It was very obviously microwaved. Beyond boiling hot. Very wet. When I asked if it was microwaved, they said it wasn’t. I don’t eat microwaved food.
Two things I definitely know:
1. If something has been microwaved.
2. When someone is lying to me.

At first glance, Mr. Cactus Mexican Grille might seem unassuming, located in a strip mall, but don’t let that fool you. The interior is nicely decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who promptly seated me.
To my delight, they brought out complimentary nachos and dip, which were a nice touch. I decided to start with an appetizer of guacamole and chips. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful, and the salty nachos were very good.
For my entrée, I ordered a stuffed Todo burrito. It was presented beautifully and arrived quickly. The burrito was delicious, filled with savory ingredients that made each bite enjoyable.
Overall, Mr. Cactus Mexican Grille exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return the next time I’m in town on business.
