Its my first attempt to discover Julich and great experience here. Amazingly good food, friendly personnel who speaks both German and English, interesting food serving and cozy athmosphere. I felt supercomfortable and nice there. Can recommend shrimps, ginger ale and icecream with pancakes.

Great food, good service and properly priced. I don’t understand why guest are allowed to watch movies/YouTube/call on speakerphone tho.. But I have seen this more in Germany.. This annoys me as a Dutch person. Phones are not allowed in an restaurant tbh (only to make food pictures )

Edit: I have visited the restaurant again after a few years. Things seem to have gotten better. The food was great and to my surprise the staff were all very nice. I guess the owner decided to take a step back and let the new generation handle things. Nobody gave me looks this time when I said I would like to pay with card.

Service is slow but staff are mostly friendly except the head waitress/owner. When you want to pay with card, the machine is either “broken” and/or the head waitress/owner is really rude to you. Prices have gone up noticeably while the food quality has decreased. The “Thai Ice Tea” now tastes like water. If it’s your first time eating there, it is a good experience but as someone who’s eaten there quite a lot, I’m probably not going to eat there again.

I think i like the ambient of the place much more than the food. I used to like this restaurant a lot but visited again a few times this year and was disappointed. Something changed (food-wise) but can’t pinpoint what. Hope it goes back to the amazing finger licking taste.

Surprisingly good Thai restaurant with a good spice combination, plus actually spicy food which can be hard to find even in big cities like Berlin. Most of the main dishes seems to be based on a standard formula various meat + various sauce + rice, but they do have a large range of distinct curry and non-spicy sauces. Dishes are well-presented and came very quickly. Staff are sometimes a little inattentive, but friendly and can speak English.
