With a long road still ahead and hunger setting in before driving a fairly long stretch of mountain road, I searched on Google and found this place. In this quiet spot, I could also see the Chimney Tree and give my dogs some time to rest in the spacious outdoor area. As for the food, I would recommend the burgers made with local meat rather than the Fish & Chips.

Located at the southernmost point of the Avenue of the Giants, this is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before, or after, you drive through the beautiful redwood trees.
Friendly service.

First time here so always max food at 4.
Very nice fresh Caesar salad w chicken
Chicken freshly cooked, tender
Iceberg lettuce and tartar sauce. Do not ridicule the tartar sauce. Its good!
Great place for the kids. Next to the chimney tree. They have indoor and outdoor seats plus picnic tables.
Just a couple of miles from 101, and shame on you if you don’t skip the freeway and drive the original 101 and the Avenue of the Giants. Down the road may lurk a fruit stand with blackberry popsicles.

This place is pretty consistent only had a few times my fried food would be a little too cooked. Really enjoy the Ortega burger and you get to add your own fresh produce from an area on the counter. Great milk shakes. Wings aren’t my favorite.
It’s nice to sit outside on the picnic tables when the weathers nice.

What a lovely place to have lunch after driving through some gorgeous redwoods. The hamburger was very good, and they offer gluten-free buns, but what really took the cake for me was the bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers. It’s so difficult to find jalapeno poppers that aren’t breaded, and the bacon does a good job of making the crispy exterior without it. The outdoor seating is clean and comfortable, and the local welcoming committee (kitty) is very polite and doesn’t try to sneak any food. Would absolutely eat here again if I ever travel back this way. It’s worth the slight detour off the 101.

Impressive hollowed redwood you can walk inside. A quick and memorable stop, and it’s free, which makes it even better. However, the on-site grill was overpriced and the food quality did not match expectations.

We stopped here to eat while exploring in the Redwoods. I had the mushroom swiss burger and fried zucchini. I’m very picky with my burgers and this was cooked to perfection. The burger was cooked well done, but juicy. The mushrooms were just right.

Such a great place to stop and get some delicious food while traveling through the redwoods! The staff member who helped us was so friendly and took great care of us! The food was so good and the view was amazing! Plus it’s right next to the chimney tree which is fun to check out while there!

Amazing fries and massive hamburgers, we got the bigfoot burger and it was large enough for both of us. Also the shake was good. They have a very nice outdoor dining area. Basically a higher class fast food with super good food.
