My favourite spot to go to for a steak dinner! I always order it with the bèarnaise sauce which I didnt know i needed on steak until trying it here.
One side is like an old school diner side and the other side is fancy pants candle light type. 2 different menus. We eat on the diner side. Service is great, food came out fast and overall a good experience every time.

We dropped in here for lunch. We were seated by our server. There was only one sever here but it wasn’t busy. I ordered the chicken Greek wrap and sweet potato fries $16 plus $2 extra. My husband ordered the club sandwich $16 and sweet potato fries. We waited 10 minutes. The food was good as well as the service. The restaurant was basic, nothing special. The bathrooms are by the front door.

Ate in once and got take out another time the burgers and fries are so good and please don’t ever stop char-broiling em ether…. it’s such a disappointment to lift up the bun and not see beautiful grill marks on the top! That’s where a lot of restaurants fail with burgers imo and it’s so simple! Only thing is I wish they were bigger ! Fast, friendly and attentive service in house! I will be a regular for life and great thing is I just live up the street!

Dined here on Saturday March 7th as Tour Director of our Mary Morton tour group.
We had our choice of four entrees, and all were delicious. The staff was attentive and assisted in getting us out with plenty of time to make the performance of our play at the Capitol Theatre.

8 of us upstairs for a family lunch.
Marcy, our server, took wonderful care of us. She was the only one in a busy room, but you would have thought we we her only customers.
The menu is different than the one we all looked at online. There are a lot of new choices and we had no trouble changing what we had decided. Our food arrived promptly, hot and delicious.

Restaurant gave our delivery order to the incorrect driver and then told us it was our issue to deal with. No food. No customer service. Someone else got our food and after over an hour wait we now have to deal with trying to get a refund from Uber and find other options.

Just further lack of any acceptance of responsibility. Seems as though takeout/delivery customers do not deserve the same respect as what I hope they provide dine in customers. Restaurants have a responsibility to ensure their customers receive their orders, interacting with delivery drivers to check that they have everything they need is the least they can do.

We are not the first time in this city, but we decided to explore restaurants and cafes that we have not been to yet. Very cozy place. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and tasty. A very large selection of dishes on the menu. We were very pleased. Thanks for the service and delicious food.

The Deep Fried Pickles were delicious! They were brought out right away so they were nice and hot. They had great flavour and excellent crunch – not one bit of sogginess. I highly recommend these.
My husband had The Bacon Cheddar Burger and said it was delicious. As someone who pretty much orders a burger at ever restaurant we go to, he said this one was top three. The actual burger patty was very well seasoned, and the fries were really yummy. I can attest to that =)
I had The Reuben and it was exactly as expected (I LOVE Reuben sandwiches). The pastrami was very good and the cheeeeese was perfectly melted.
I’m not sure what our servers name was but she was excellent, very friendly and attentive. (We were there April 28th at 11am.)
Next time we’re in Port Hope we’ll be sure to stop in again.

It’s A Dyer Thing
I can’t thank the team enough for accommodating our group meet. Unfortunately we didn’t get as many in as we wanted as a few riders dropped out before we entered the establishment. Their loss ! This will be my go to place for ride groups moving forward!
The food was on fleek, service was even better and the atmosphere was superb! I can’t be more satisfied!
