I always tell myself not to go back, but we have so few options, I find myself trying again. Broccoli casserole legit tastes like dirt. Asked for my hamburger steak to have no pink, and you can see from the photo, it’s gross. Fries and bread mediocre at best. Been a long time since I’ve had good service there. It has only stayed open this long because 606 years is the only decent one place in the county for a steak.

Steak medallions cooked perfectly. Salmon was cooked well, also. I did not care for the burbon glaze flavor (personal opinion). Baked potato was small, and barely warm. Mac and cheese was good, but also barely warm. Blackberry cobbler and ice cream was good but plated poorly.
Staff was super nice also efficient.
Would probably go again if in the area, but wouldn’t make a special trip.
Did enjoy watching the pizza oven at work. Wood burning. Pizza cooked over coals. Interesting process. Have no idea if it was good (looked good).

The barbecue and side dishes are truly AMAZING! We’ve dined there several times, and each time the food and service have been outstanding. The prices are quite fair, and you certainly get your money’s worth. The staff is friendly and professional. The owner even took a moment to thank my husband for visiting, which we really appreciated. We will definitely recommend this spot to our friends and family. It’s the best restaurant we’ve experienced in town so far!!

We went out to eat with a friend yesterday. We were seated in a booth that was perfect for our group. The food came really quick and was delicious! I got the baby back ribs and they were cooked to perfection. My favorite sauce was the hot one, but the honey barbecue sauce was also good. We had such an enjoyable evening!

First time eating here and will eat here again if I am traveling through Hazard, KY. Great casual bbq spot. The atmosphere was very casual and low-key. I highly recommend it. The waitress provided us with a great dining experience. She was very friendly and helpful. My wife tried the bbq platter with coleslaw and potato salad. I enjoyed the brisket with sweet potato fries and pineapple casserole. The food was extremely tender and well seasoned. The ribs on my wife’s plate were fall off the bone tender. Great bbq place!!

Sat at the bar, Jason served me and was real friendly. It was good time, very relaxed place. Not sure if it was lull in the day. Food was a good price. Never had Fried Banana peppers, but they were awesome. Big Blue is a must if you’re passing through Hazard.

We ordered pizza. The flavor was good but it sat on the counter for 10 minutes before the server brought it to us. None of the staff seemed to know they were doing. We probably would have enjoyed it if it were hot and had good service. Won’t return.

Stopped by for dinner, was not crowded at all. We were greeted upon entering and the waitress was very nice and accommodating. Ordered the BBQ nachos, they were good, but the meat seemed a little dry for my taste. The entrees were fulfilling and delicious. I had the BBQ pulled pork platter. I did request a bun in order to make a sandwich. I highly recommend the sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. The broccoli casserole was delicious! Baked beans were average. The salad bar looked fresh and had a nice selection. The overall atmosphere of this place is very warm and welcoming. I would recommend it to anyone.
