We have moved to Colorado from the East Coast, and have had a difficult time finding any good pizza. We were cautiously optimistic with The Garlic Knot.
The restaurant was dirty. There must have been years worth of dust and grime on their ventilation panels in the ceiling.
Seating was horrible. Booths are uncomfortable and worn.
Putting all of that aside, we came for the pizza.
The white pizza with chicken and broccoli was without flavor. Add a little salt and pepper and it was better.
We also had the Alphabet City pizza. This was okay. Plenty of toppings however the bottom crust was like wet toilet paper. It was so soggy and had no integrity at all.
For the prices that they charge, they could certainly do better.

They give tracking notifications for making, pickup by driver, etc, but I’d far rather have my pizza kept flat during delivery. It was clearly held at a 45 degree angle or more. Also, they couldn’t figure out how to honor their own coupons over the phone. Actual taste of the pizza was good.

Pizza arrived horribly soggy, like a soaked diaper, door dash only offered me a 5 dollar credit, the worst pizza I’ve had….ever…and I mean every. Called the manager at the store and he kept saying…I don’t know why it’d be like that, making excuses about condensation and stuff, it was absolutely undercooked, and he didn’t want to admit to that. The crust was literally Elmer’s glue towards the center. I didn’t ask for a refund but not even an air fryer could crisp it up…it’s like they just took it out half way though the ovan when the Dasher arrived, threw it in a box and said good riddance. I sent pictures, he agreed that it looked horrible…but made zero offer to make it right in anyway. I even offered to bring it back to the store to show him… DoorDash made no effort and the management made no effort and that’s not how I do business for the price of the pizza which is insane… If I’m paying insane prices I expect decent product and resolution if it’s not…
Do not order this pizza unless you want to by the off chance have the same experience..without anyone even attempting to make it right.

We have ordered delivery and eaten at this location.
The service has always been great. The pizza is always good. The salads are good. But they don’t always leave off the onions like I ask. We tried the stromboli. It tasted nice but was super oily. We tried the calzone and it was nice. I think the pizza is still my favourite.
The booths are super comfortable. The temperature is also comfortable.
I think the one thing that I don’t like about the restaurant is the smell in the bathroom. I am not sure if it’s their cleaner or something in the pipes but it’s awful.
Otherwise, great place!

Pizza is good, the garlic knots are also good but the sauce completely takes over the garlic taste so all you taste is tomatoes and bread. Smell coming into the establishment was as awful as sulfur and later a weed smell arrived which, both of those combined, led to my 3-star review. It was so bad I could barely breathe, not an exaggeration. It was suffocatingly bad.
Cashier gave us a free drink because we forgot to order one, which was nice.

I love this place, but the amount of times I’ve gone to place an order on a Monday only to realize they’re closed…? My love of their food seems to trump my memory of their hours. It’s a huge bummer, every time. I don’t support this decision. Be open on Mondays, ffs.

The pizza wasn’t very good or aesthetically appealing .everything had a burned chemical taste to it like some sort of cleaner. The garlic knots were not tied in to knots and had raw dough on the inside. Also was pressured in to giving a tip for pick up . The meat ball pizza was just crumbled up meat. Not sure if the quality was suffering because the staff was possibly messed up on dope. I for one will not be returning to this establishment. My 5 yr old says they are fired.

I want so badly to find a decent Italian place in the area, but this won’t be it for me. To sum up my experience, food wasn’t bad, but the food safety was subpar. Showed up when it said my order would be done, and it was. I got the Chelsea pizza and mozz sticks. The mozz sticks were definitely just bagged frozen ones.. so the price is not great considering that. They also tasted like they were made early and sat in the container while the pizza cooked, which being in the industry myself, sadly seems like the norm. The pizza was good, lots of toppings which is never bad.. the part that will keep me from coming back though, as I was waiting, I looked back in the kitchen.. one of the cooks was in a sleeveless shirt. Being in food myself, I know is a big no-no. I wanted to give it an honest shot.. but I feel like, if they don’t care enough to have an employee properly dressed.. what else don’t they care about?

Quiet, unassuming strip mall spot with friendly staff that recognizes their regulars and serves the kind of delicious, traditional calorie-laden pizza we all crave. Of course the garlic knots are the best, but my 11-year-old pizza fanatic stated, “We gotta remember this place!” after polishing off a slice of the stuffed pizza. The dining area isn’t anything fancy, but it had the perfect kind of family-friendly feel we were looking for. Even better, we had it all to ourselves on a Friday night at peak dinner hours. The only major downside was that the restrooms were all out of service.

Usually love garlic knot and I’m happy with my meals. However, tonight, I ordered a stuffed slice meal with garlic knots and a stuffed slice of pizza. Garlic knots were dope, cuz that’s what they’re known for. However, again, my stuffed pizza looks and tastes like a reheat. My crust and flat of the pizza was burned af, and almost inedible. Do better garlic knot!
Edit: I took a but of my pizza and threw it away. It’s definitely a reheat. I’m not impressed! Won’t eat here again
