Used to eat here every other week, due to my budget. Even though there food is not over priced. Unfortunately they changed something in the way they cooked the food. It always seemed more salty. I’m not sure the reason but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried different items and at different times of the day. It was all the same.
I even ended up with a headache every time I ate here. I’ve heard that is a sign of MSG.
I do not know for sure if they use MSG, but I do know that they stopped being as good. I’ve given them two stars. It is still super fast, always hot, restaurant always clean. Very, very respectful staff. If the changes to something that was changing the taste of their food hadn’t happened it would be 5 star and I would be eating there again.

I have no idea how this place is still open. I’ve been twice and the food was terrible both times (years apart). The one in Trophy Club closed so I gave this location a second try. Ordered General Tso’s chicken. The menu showed plenty of broccoli but when I got my order home and opened it, there was only 1 piece of broccoli. Really? And was so overcooked, it was almost inedible.
The only good thing I can say about this place is it is CHEAP. Not sure how it got a two dollar sign rating. My complete meal with drink and tip came to something like $6-$7. However, that does not make up for the really bad food. I won’t give them a third try. Can’t post 0 stars or I would.

Been coming here for several years the staff is very friendly. Food is prepared fresh and hot and taste great. The have reasonable prices when in town always swing y for lunch menu. Still have leftovers for dinner. Thank you for good food will be back to eat lunch again.

I have ordered here for a long time, usually pretty good. Tonight I made an order and wish I had not, the guy that took my order was a complete jerk, the delivery guy was rude and acted put out, the sweet n sour chicken was absolutely horrible and the red sauce was refrigerator cold and my orange chicken came as a cold sesame chicken that was horrible. Never again, king wok is better.

Prices gone up, they give you less on lunch specials compared to other Hong Kong express. I go to the one in Hurst. At least they don’t skimp me on the food. Every lunch special known to anywhere else comes with the traditional egg roll, rice, meat and soup. This place overcharged the soup and compared to other Hong Kong express this sauce is completely different. I’m not coming back. But service was great.

My wife and I came here for the first time today. We read some positive reviews before we walked in and were happy to find they were accurate. The restaurant is clean and has GREAT food. I had the General Tso chicken and my wife had the sesame.

Absolutely disgusting. The Beef Schezwan had very little beef it was basically onions in flavorless grease. The Crab Ragoon was burned and the filling was minimal, the dumplings were barely filled. The noodles were greasy. I couldn’t believe how bad the food was. I almost drove it back to the restaurant and demanded my money back.

I was excited to try a new Chinese place- the food was wonderful but their customer service was horrible. we ordered to 2 family specials- one of the items ordered was sweet and sour chicken-my husband got home a little later, when he started to get his food together noticed there was no sauce for his meal- we called and complained- the guy who answered to phone pretty much called us a liar by stating he placed the sauce in the bag.

I’ve found the food to have improved greatly in the last year. You get a lot and it’s a family business. We used to drive to New China in Wautaga but have switched to Hong Kong Express for it’s convenience & fast service.

Their food is great their conscience is outstanding their manners are polite and their hospitality is exceptional. The food is average, their delivery if able is hands down the best. Great On the Go hence the “Express”
