We never miss a moment to try a new Thai restaurant. We found one walking distance to our hotel. First off, we placed an order for take out and it was a friendly encounter over the phone. Really quick turn around. It’s always nice to experience how various spots make their version of fried rice. It’s one of our go to dish and it was delicious. We also placed and order of lobster balls and a seafood panang curry, which was creamy and flavorful. Food was amazing, so much so that we forgot to take pictures before we plate them. Decent portions and reasonably priced.

We love the jam. It is a family owned Thai place. Jam (the owner) is very sweet and she serves us every time we go. And we go usually as a group of 10-15 people. Food is great and priced aptly.
Not fancy dining but definitely a homely feel.

This place has been a go-to for great food and a fun environment for many years. The flavors are full and fresh and you can tell the owners take pride in their business. Eating here is always a good idea and there is something for everyone

Food is great – huge portions, comes out super fast and the food is very flavorful. I loved the khao soy with tofu- better than any I’ve had in Portland! Service is direct and simple. Idk why folks are complaining, I definitely recommend coming here for a meal.

Good place to have Thai food when in the west side of the downtown Portland neighborhood. We had the crispy egg rolls, son in law eggs (what a name!), Khao soy, massaman curry, Panang Curry and pad Thai. All in all, the food was very good. Decent portions, reasonably priced, fairly quick turnaround time and delicious food. I would definitely go back just for the Khao soy which was really really good. The only reason I’m dropping a star in the rating is coz of the service. The lady who served us messed up / forgot our order twice – once during the two starters we ordered and once during the entrees. And what made it more frustrating is that there was nobody else in the restaurant but our group, and so it wasn’t like she had other tables to cater to. Next time we might just do take out or delivery. The lack in service is made up in some sorts by the excellent taste is everything we had today.

Best Thai food in this part of downtown. The cocktail menu is worthy of exploring, and the waitress (possibly owner) was full of character. A shared dinner and several appetizers to nibble on made for a wonderful dining experience on date night.

Ordered ahead on Grubhub for a business lunch. Grubhub glitched and made it ASAP instead, and when I contacted them less than 5 minuts after, they said too bad, the restaurant was already making my food. So I called Thai Chili Jam and they were SUPER accomodating, and said they had NOT started making the food, and had tried to contact Grubhub. Grubhub was horrible. Thai Chilli Jam saved the day. I will give them my delivery order tomorrow before the business lunch, and Grubhub can take a hike. Thank you Thai Chilli Jam!

Real Thai food, the yellow curry tasted so good, not so creamy just right amount of coconut milk, still curry tasty, with lots of chicken.
Food portion is big. Good price consider it is located in downtown. Worth the price.

Our go-to spot for fast, delicious Thai takeout. The yellow curry, specialty curry, fried rice, and cashew nut chicken are always on point. Super consistent and reliably tasty every time.
