DO NOT sleep on this place the food is amazing, the burgers are fresh ground beef, no frozen pre-made walmart patties and the guy runnin the place is really patient and even remembers some of the regulars orders… if u want a burger without the side of 100 different preservatives this is the place and u can taste it

Update: for everyone following the latest health research, seed oils are out and beef tallow is in. This place uses beef tallow! For such a small local place, the quality of everything is outstanding. THE BURGERS ARE ENORMOUS! My boss is a huge eater and couldn’t finish a regular single patty burger. The hotdogs are some of the best if not Thee best around. Everything is fresh. The burgers are not from frozen. The quality of the food is unmatched. The vibe is great. The owners do all the cooking, are super friendly. Patrons of all color, creed and profession come in and everyone is happy and talking to each other. There’s a few small tables inside but many tables outside so it’s the place to be in warmer weather. The extra touches and attention to quality is great. I wasn’t a big salad eater until I started going here. The creamy Caesar dressing is so full of Parmesan and garlic, the lettuce is always super green romaine (not iceberg like most other places) and there’s just so much. All the extras are so fresh… cuts of cucumbers, tomatoes, I add mushrooms, and they sprinkle it with Parmesan. I can get two meals out of it. They put a big cup of dressing on the side. Nothing stingy about this place. And it’s clean, the kind of clean you don’t usually find in little places like this.

Stopped at this place. Extremely polite staff which matters the most. It takes a little time since everything is made to order. Not ordinary fast food. Buns for cheeseburgers were different, size of the meat, bigger. Why 4 stars instead of 5? I wish the french fries to be fresh cut

Excellent burgers and friendly service from cook and cashier. I’m glad I spotted this somewhat hidden gem driving up Cicero while running errands and decided to stop in.
The angus burgers have been cooked to perfection the two times I have been here. They are substantial with just the right amount of flavor and juiciness. They taste as good as they look. The brioche-style bun and fixings complement the burger well.
This is a small place with minimal indoor seating, but it’s comfortable inside. The AC was running on a warm day. There are also outdoor tables. I couldn’t resist eating in my car in the parking lot.
The shoestring fries were freshly fried, crunchy and ample, but the burgers are the real star of the show here for me. I get cravings for this place even though I live near downtown Chicago, and will stop by here when I’m hungry and in the area in the future! Highly recommended!

Quaint roadside truck styled box, two tables but thankfully the weather was ideal for dining outside despite the wind taking away our napkins. A bit awkward relaxing payment is taken after the eating! Seems a more obvious solution to proving out quality dining in however I bet people forget like we nearly did. Loved the simple menu, many free toppings, excellent options and freshly made beef. Onion rings were surprisingly tasty too. It’s a quality burger joint!

WOW !!! A fantastic little gem of the classic American burger joint, a simple straightforward place with a tidy menu, served up fast and friendly style, it’s a small place only 3 tables inside and a few more outdoors, can’t wait to go back and seeing as they are just around the corner from the office it will be my regular burger place !!!
