The restaurant decor is very cool and makes you feel you’re dining with thunder gods. Service is efficient and courteous, though food came out slower than expected during a slower hour.
We had a great experience at Kizuki Ramen! The decor is fun and lively, and the service was impressively quick. We especially appreciated that this was the only restaurant open on Christmas Eve, which made it an easy and comforting choice.
The shio ramen and shoyu ramen really stood out — both were flavorful and well-balanced, and I loved that they offer a less sodium option, which made the meal even more enjoyable. A solid spot for quality ramen, great atmosphere, and reliable service. We’ll definitely be back!
The interior is nicely decorated and has a lot of character, but the seating is pretty small, so it can feel a bit cramped. The staff were very friendly and polite. My husband and I ordered two bowls of ramen and three side dishes.
When my husband’s ramen arrived, we noticed it didn’t have any chashu pork and didn’t really look like the photo on the menu. We asked the server about it, and they took the bowl back, added the pork, and brought it back out.
All the side dishes came out shortly after. Overall the food was just okay, nothing much special. We actually felt that the side dishes tasted better than the ramen. Maybe it’s just personal preference, or maybe we didn’t order the right ramen that they’re known for.
All star ramen: huge portion for $25! Lots of meat (pork, chicken, whole egg). This might’ve been the first time I struggled to finish a bowl of ramen, even coming hungry after a workout. It was also salty but exactly what I was craving post workout. Still, I asked for a cup of clear broth to help dilute it since the saltiness was catching up to me halfway through.
Yuzu shio ramen: clean healthy soup to sip on. Great option if you want a lighter broth. Also comes with a large portion of noodles.
Got less ice for 2 drinks, the yuzu soda and strawberry yuzu lemonada, but it came out tasting strange close to room temp, and not as carbonated as expected. Better to try with regular ice.
Overall this new ramen joint provided good value for its quality and quantity. The flavor doesn’t match your top Japanese ramen places and the large portions feel Chinese, but it hits the spot on a cold rainy day and exactly what we needed today. Solid 4.5!
the appetizers came fast after ordering. All the food was piping hot which is a plus! The fried lotus chips needs more seasoning. the ramen comes with light salt option. I got the original salt level. It might be salty to some people but I can take salty food. the noodles has a little chew and lots of noodle option if you want a different noodle from the base noodle. all ramen came with one slice of pork. the pork slice isn’t tender and a little too lean. Good to try but I am picky about ramen and only really eat ramen in Japan
There is enough staff for them to be attentive but we had to ask twice for an extra soup bowl because the staff never came back with our bowl. there is a bit of confusion with staff (staff didn’t know the two different ramen name as it was served, staff came to our table and stood there with their check machine looking for our check. We pointed out that wasn’t our check and our check was already paid in full). I understand because it is grand opening and newly trained staff so it didn’t bother us at all.
for some odd reason, the floor to the restaurant is very slippery. might be from grease/oil of the restaurant and floor isn’t mopped well. So be careful. I was wearing sneakers and I was sliding on the floor. My two other friends who came with me also agreed.
Easy parking because it is in a mall.
Quick update on this. I don’t recommend the deluxe one which shown in the picture. The extra for the chicken breast aren’t worth it even if it’s juicy
Gyoza: 3/5 – nice good sear on the outside but the fillings were basic. Overall can’t go wrong with it.
Yuzu Mango Green Tea: 5/5 – good balance of yuzu, tea and touch of sweetness. Refreshing.
Service and food is overall good. But the only downside is that the tables are in a very close proximity to each other. Its a good quick lunch spot.
