I came here for lunch to see if the low rating was warranted. I’d say the current average rating doesn’t reflect the quality at all. The most recent reviews were definitely stale too.

When I came for lunch on a tuesday, the selection at the conveyor belt was huge. They had a bit of everything laid out. I had a few rolls and a few nigiris. They were flavorful. I’d say the taste is pretty standard for sushi. The sushi rice could use a bit more seasoning/vinegar but it’s not bad at all. The things i tried were pretty good. Nothing amazing but i’d say I had a good dining experience.

You can order special items from the touchpad as well. My nigiri took a few minutes (like maybe 3-5 mins?) to arrive but honestly, it wasn’t too bad as there were plenty of other options going around on the belt.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. They were ready to help me out with any questions I had.

Overall, I’d say this was a pretty good sushi restaurant. Definitely won’t cross off my list of to revisit restaurants whenever I visit Serramonte Mall again. If you’re craving some good sushi, give Izumi sushi a try!

The sushi is fresh with great flavor. With it being a conveyor belt sushi setting, I would say the quality is definitely there and worth the buck. I love how fast the service is as well. whenever we ordered something on the screen, we will receive them in a timely manner, which enhance our dining experience. The tables are pretty small but manageable. Would definitely be back again.

This is a pretty solid sushi spot. The revolving aspect of it is fun and convenient. I like the fact that you can literally start eating as soon as you get seated. There is a touch screen where you can order beverages and food too so if you’re seeing a certain roll or dish on the belt, you can order it to be delivered to your table. I usually go during non-peak meal times so I never really had to wait for a table. The staff are also great – easy to get their attention if needed and all were speedy with their service (never had to wait long for drinks or a check).

Salmon belly special nigiri is so delicious! Sweet shrimp is yummy too.

Overall this restaurant is better tasting than Kura sushi and underrated.

Avoid hamachi belly special nigiri and uni, not very fresh.

I WOULD NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!
This review is for anyone who cares about cleanliness and hygiene. During our visit, my friends and I were seated where the sushi prep areas were clearly visible. We could see how food was handled, and the same cloth was repeatedly used to wipe staff members’ hands and then used again during food preparation. A knife used to cut sushi was also wiped on that same cloth. To-go orders were packed bare-handed, without gloves. I understand that some sushi places do use bare hands when making sushi, but the staff touched other non-food objects and then touched the sushi. I repeatedly saw a staff member drink from her own water bottle and then touch the sushi without washing her hands after handling her personal item. I have been going to this place for years but had never been seated near the food prep area. I’m glad I did see what happened to the food I ate, because I won’t be coming back. It’s really disappointing to witness this firsthand.

The experience was really disappointing. First, there’s no air conditioning in the restaurant, so it gets uncomfortably hot, which raises concerns about how fresh the food is. The quality of the sushi ingredients was poor, and it didn’t taste good at all. The most frustrating part was that as soon as we sat down, the staff asked what kind of water we wanted. We asked for iced water, but they served the guests who arrived after us first. We waited halfway through our meal and still hadn’t received it. When we asked again, only then did they bring it to us.

I went because of the advertising and they showed very good dishes that were not raw. Since I couldn’t eat them raw, I ate two of the ones I could eat and I came to another one, but if you can eat raw, I recommend it. It looks very good and the place is very nice

Really nice staff. Very quickly sat. I liked most of the food but thought the food was better when ordered fresh from the trains. An example would be the temperature of the sashimi was not cold enough but the portion was huge at least for the salmon. Ordered the walu which was better. It’s a fun concept and good when you’re not too hungry.

Nice revolving sushi place inside a mall. They had good quality fish and their portion size was also good. I felt some sashimi and sushi could have been little smaller for better experience. Their fish were fresh and i recommend this place overall.

It was my first time going here.  I ordered for take-out.  The service was fast and easy to place an order for take-out.  It was pretty busy, but the service was fast.

We ordered:

1.  Gyozo – As you know, my go-to  and this was perfectly cooked and not greasy.

2.  Shrimp pops – Super crunchy and flavorful.  I was happy that it wasn’t a shrimp tempura but way better.  The perfect bite. I wished it was more than 2 pieces.

3.  Spicy tuna maki  – Fresh and definitely not holding back on the spice.

4.  Dragon roll  – So flavorful, you can taste all the different items just blend together in the perfect bite.

5.  Deep fried California roll – It wasn’t what I expected, but way better. It wasn’t all batter, but you can tell it was lightly fried

6.  Beef donburi. – Not your standard beef teriyaki. It was finely chopped like a chashu. It tasted amazing.

7.  Chicken karaage – Crunchy but not overly cooked like some places where it’s chewy

Overall, the price wasn’t bad for the portions.  I believe it was reasonably priced. I can’t wait to come back and try more items and experience the revolving sushi.
