We got the mushroom walnut nachos and pastor tacos. Both were delicious and unfortunately we didn’t have more space in our stomachs to try more, but we’ll be back next time we come through from Colorado.
All of this came as a pleasant surprise, as we visited on a Sunday afternoon purely because it’s a new Mexican food restaurant, thinking we could find something on the menu that might agree with us. As it turns out, it’s all quite delicious!
My wife got the Diosas, and I got the Burrito. Hers came with two Gorditas, beans and rice, as pictured. Mine came as a single burrito, and nothing more. Both were quite tasty.
There is a good selection of menu choices available, and several drink options (including smoothies). Overall, we were pleased with the visit.
We were greeted right away and directed to our seats and given menus. It was really hard to choose, and everything looked amazing. We decided to share the walnut mushroom tacos and the pastor pineapple tostada bowl. The food came out quick. The tacos had the earthy flavor of mushrooms, with pickled onions cilantro and walnuts. Amazing. The tacos are small but so fresh and packed with flavor. The pastor tostada was my favorite. Served in a crispy flour tortilla bowl. This dish has cashew cheese drizzled on top of fresh lettuce salsa fresco guacamole sauce, rice black beans, and a plant based pastor pineapple. Savory and a little sweet. The pineapple flavor was so refreshing and light. A true work of art on a plate. This is a gem in our vegan community. I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes!
