One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Casual setting with Cajun/Gulf Coast fare including numerous seafood and steak options…service was excellent, food was very well prepared.with large portion sizes…bread pudding was the perfect finale to a truly delicous meal and overall outstanding dining experience…if you are in the Golden Triangle region and looking to eat I highly recommend Anthony’s Market

Came to Starkville for Georgia game and as fun as the game was, Anthony’s might have actually been the highlight of the trip. The Crabmeat Filet was unbelievably good! Service was excellent. This place was hyped up to us from folks who’d been there in the past and this place definitely lived up to the hype and then some!

I was there with a large group that had a reservation at 8. The table we were given was far too small for us. As the busy place began to clear a bit we were able to use a nearby booth. It was an extremely long wait time between arrival and ordering and between ordering and getting our appetizers and getting our salads and bread. We were all a bit hangry by the time we were given the food. Beware if you are allergic to seafood. This is not the place for you. All fried items are cooked in the same oil as shrimp, in addition to the toppings on the steaks being seafood. The ribeye was cooked as I requested but most of the flavor came from the sauce on top rather than the meat. Chicken tenders were cooked perfectly moist with a crispy thin batter. Honey mustard really set them off. I would probably not choose to go back in a larger group or order another steak from them if I did feel the urge to over pay for food in a loud atmosphere.

We paid $110 dollars for two meals, but didn’t not get but half of our order. When it came time to pay, over an hour later, I asked them to remove the half we never received. They refused and then brought out the rest, after we’d eaten, and expected us to just “take it home with us”. Two hours spent in here, paying these guys for food we never got. Beware.

Was so excited to try this place. The service was great. Zero complaints there, except for maybe a lack of a manager. But, on recommendation, I ordered shrimp and grits. The amount of added ingredients on that dish was insane. The texture of the grits was off. Either clumpy or so overcooked it was mush. I couldn’t eat it. My friend ordered a salmon plate. The inside of the salmon was raw and the sauce on top was inedible. $70 later, neither of us had a meal. I alerted the server and no manager came out or anything. So disappointed.

Bread and butter is part of the appetizer. The steak could almost be cut with a spoon and had a great flavour. The dessert was delicious and is a shareable portion.

OMFG! How come that I didn’t know about this place. I’m living in this GTR area for almost past ten years and still missed it until recently. This is a hidden gem. Well, this is a proper restaurant, where I would recommend a table booking before you show up. Because of the covid situation we decided to pick the food instead of a dine in. This is a little upscale American restaurant. The environment is like an old tavern and pretty laid back. I loved it. The food is delicious, mostly the salmon and the blackened catfish. The cheesy grits as a side is too good, so don’t miss that. The bread pudding was nothing extraordinary, however pretty good. We have not tasted the steak, those are a bit pricy. But I’m sure they are good.

My husband and I love eating at this restaurant! Every time we go the service is top notch! We both love the steaks, and we will normally choose an appetizer that is special for the weekend. We also love that you can BYOB! Truly the best steak I’ve ever had and we treat ourselves to fine dining pretty regularly. 5 stars!!

Was very excited about this restraunt. By reputation we were poised to have a great meal. The location was a bit of a drive from where we were. Inside is an open floorplan. Looks almost like a back country dive. Prices are going to be steep. We decided to have a date night. Thursday’s are fairly busy. So, there was a 20 min wait to get a tucked away corner table. I advise getting a reservation before dropping in. The waitress was kind and the food was made well. Our entres came without sides. The asparagus was a sad 5 short pieces, and they were out of garlic potatoes (told me after getting my steak). So I substituted with fries that I had boxed up to go. Each were delivered after we had finished the main coarse. Id say the experience over all took a B-. We may some day be back, but for now it wont be a priority.
….We decided to go back. I’m adding to this review to say service was again horrible. The food was served cold. Not a place I would recommend.
