We had a wonderful dinner at Toppers Restaurant in St. Maarten. Our server, Carol, was so friendly and attentive, which made the evening even better.
I ordered the seafood pasta, it was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. My sisters tried the fish and chips and the coconut shrimp, and both dishes were a hit. Everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully served.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the kind of place where you can enjoy a great meal and good conversation.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Big thanks to Carol for taking such good care of us! Highly recommend Toppers if you’re in St. Maarten.

We would highly recommend the rum distillery tour as a fun thing to do.
We booked the tour online and arrived fifteen minutes before the start time. We checked in at reception and were offered a rum punch which was delicious. Our tour guide, Ash then introduced herself. At this point we realised we were the only two people on the last tour of the day from 5.30 – 7pm. Ash was great, she explained the history of rum with some interesting facts. She was also interested in us and asked us many questions about our country. She offered us plenty of rum shots along the way while she talked us through the distilling and bottling processes. We didn’t expect a cooking demonstration but it added to the fun when Ash asked my husband to cook a chicken fillet and pineapple dish with coconut, rum and spices. It was delicious and also accompanied by more rum shots and rum ice cream. The tour ended with a rum tasting session including all our favourites from the tour. I think the tour would have been better in a larger group, it also finished 30 minutes early probably because we were such a small group but we left feeling slightly tipsy and both agreed it was a great way to spend an hour

We had their Christmas Dinner special and it was a wonderful evening.
Service – The restaurant was full & Carol seemed to be the only waitress, but she did an amazing job! Recognizing it was a packed holiday night, the service was good & she was very nice.
Atmosphere – a live performance from Les DeShane started at 7 & he was incredibly talented.
That was followed by karaoke at 8, which was fun & family friendly.
Food – we both had the filet mignon, with bourbon carrots, and sweet potato fries / mashed potatoes.
Ordered rare / med rare and the steaks were cooked to perfection . Very flavorful, thick cuts.
The mashed potatoes with gravy were delicious, but the stand-out was certainly the bourbon carrots.
Usually not a huge fan of carrots, these were soft and buttery with a rich glaze. Definitely get the carrots.
I usually take photos, but the food looked so good – I just started eating.
Bottom line: this place is an awesome spot for lunch or dinner. Maybe make a reservation, just to be sure. Don’t second guess it, and just go with your gut on the men.

Great meal with awesomely strong drinks. The beer, painkiller, and ultimate margaritas were top notch. Our server even brought us over free samples of different flavored rum. After a couple of half shots and some drinks we were ready for food which did not disappoint. The fish and chips, hot pastrami sandwich, and the gnocchi in a vodka cream sauce with chicken and spinach were all fantastic. Would highly recommend this place and we will return on our next trip. The owner himself who is now 87 was sitting off to the side when we walked in and we told him it was another great meal. Some pictures are of the scenery from the restaurant.
*A few days before we stopped in for some gelato for dessert after eating at another place down the road and that was delicious too! We could not fit in any gelato this time as we were too full from our meal.

Me and five(5) of my family members stayed in Saint Maarten for spring break this year. Topper’s in Sint Maarten was one of the highlights of our trip! The atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel right at home. We had a blast trying their famous rum (so many unique flavors) and then staying for karaoke, which turned into such a fun night with locals and other travelers. It’s the kind of place where you go for dinner and drinks but end up making memories you’ll be talking about long after the trip. Definitely a must-visit spot in Sint Maarten! I got the lobster dinner three(3) nights in a row!!

One of the owners sat us and went over the menu. The waiter came after ten minutes took our drink and food order. This was not a busy night maybe 30 percent occupied. When our food was delivered no one checked on us to see if everything was ok and both of our dishes were cold except for our spinach on the side. I had to go to the bar to request our bill after 40 minutes. When finally, they brought it we hoped they would ask if it was good or not by seeing some of the unneatened food but nothing. Maybe they didn’t like us for some reason.

This place does it all. Restaurant, distillery, gelateria and a gift shop. What more could someone ask for! The service here is amazing the waitress we had was super friendly and funny. She gave usa free sample of their banana rum, which was awesome never even thought those two would go together but they really do. The food here is decent but the service and atmosphere really make it worth it in my opinion. Definitely a good spot to go if you’re looking for something that has a decent size menu and good atmosphere.

My husband and I did the “RHUM” tour so we decided to stay for lunch and have a dessert and all I can say is the food is amazing that their ice cream is to die for. The service was very impressive and if you want to have lunch with a view, Toppers is highly recommended
