The bathrooms were gross. I couldn’t even breathe in there. They use all plastic which is probably a good thing since they don’t clean, obviously. Bartender was nice though. They need smoke eaters if they keep letting everyone to smoke in there.

This street is full of those little pubs and is good for pub hopping. Strasse haus is specially famous in this street. It got a decent crowd when I visited. I took some photos (asked the man at the bar counter if I can). There is a small room adjacent for live band and coming out is an outdoor patio area. The drinks are priced reasonably.
It looked like most of the crowd knew each other very well are very regulars.

Great dive bar on popular Main Street in Covington. Cheap drinks, live music, fun & friendly atmosphere.
Their pitcher of beer deal is the best in town. They also have very good comfort food here (not just the usual bar bites). Fast service.

My sister was celebrating a milestone in her career today with some family and friends. We just walked in, went straight to the bar to order a round of drinks. A man who who clearly had been there for some time got upset that we were standing at the bar in his way of the TV, so much so that he blew cigarette smoke directly into my little sister’s hair multiple times and started yelling at us to move. The rest of the regulars there chimed in and were completely out of line. Especially considering we were just ordering drinks quickly and heading upstairs. The bartenders did nothing to intervene except tell us to go upstairs as if we were in the wrong for simply ordering a round of drinks. What was supposed to be a celebratory night which would have brought a great deal of business turned into us giving our business to another establishment that made us feel welcome. I have never had such a horrible experience. All of the other bars in the Covington area are so inviting. I will never be back to the Strasse Haus.

If you like live music, Strasse Haus is the place to go on Friday and Saturday nights. Tonight was Crambone Rocks which was excellent. Service is normally excellent and you normally leave making a new friend or 2. Always a good time.

Music saved this place. Selection of liquor was ok but kind of low for a bar, their second bar was cash only (in 2018), service in both bars was really good. The live music was awesome and I recommend it for people interested in hearing live bands.

Terri was so awesome!! She made us feel very welcomed. A real gem of a bartender. We will for sure be back on a Saturday, Sunday, or a Monday(SSM)! Appreciate the hospitality!!

I agree with the review before mine, bartenders could certainly be more polite. Maybe it was just the inside bar, but they were super dismissive if you tried to ask any questions. That part sucked, but the overall atmosphere was really fun! The door guys & the band last night was a blast!
