Omgosh y’all…. the new flounder sandwich is amazing!! I went through the drive through… received excellent treatment and left with THE BEST fish sandwich that I’ve ever had. I chose the spicy sandwich and I loved it more than I can say. 600ish calories, $6.00ish for a sandwich only… wonderful. Perfect for the Lenten Season and perfect year round.

I got 2 piece dark. They were out of spicy. Got regular and when I was eating my last thigh I turned the light on to see clearer. My chicken was bloody. I gagged and almost threw up . If I get food poisoning things will not be good

We ordered online to try and save time. When we arrived the drive through line was backed up to Johnston St. When we tried to go inside to pickup, the ice side area was closed. We had to wait in the drive through line for over 20 minutes when our order said it was ready for pickup. When we got home, which is less than 2.5 miles, the chicken was barely warm and the fries were cold. It makes no sense to have online ordering if there isn’t a faster way to get your food. This may be our last time visiting this location.

This is arguably the worst Popeyes. There is absolutely no service. Everything is as if you are asking the employee to do something they did not sign up to do. They talk down to the customers and are just plain disrespectful. I will NEVER eat from this Popeyes location again due to multiple bad experiences. I HIGHLY recommend you save yourself the pain and choose a different location.
UPDATED 1/2/26: The automated response says you will “addressing concerns you’r raised with our management team to ‘ensure’ we improve our service quality in the future.”
This has been the response for years and nothing has changed as you can see from reading the past reviews. RBI please do something soon before you lose this location completely. I’m not the first and I’m sure I will not be the last to leave basically the same review.

Popeye’s is too famous! After we finally figured out how to order, we received a box of tenders, red beans and coleslaw.
The chicken was dry and lukewarm, red beans were good, coleslaw is sweet taste.
Buyer beware: 1/2 cup red beans and rice = $3.49! That’s $144/gallon…not that famous in the future

The chicken was so fresh. It was so juicy and tender. The biscuit was flaky and edible instead of cold and hard. The rice dressing was fresh, moist delicious. Everything was amazing

I understand how it feels to be super behind on orders, and the nice lady working the front today really took charge of the situation and had orders coming out as fast as she could. Overheard that one of their equipment was acting up and backlogging them. The order took a while, even when ordering ahead, but I don’t blame them. Still got home and chowed down. I appreciate their hard work.

If I could give it 0 stars I would.. I ordered ahead on the app and when I pulled up to pick it up they said it would be 2 minutes and to park in the spot they would bring it out when it was ready. Ended up waiting 30 minutes before I went inside and found my food sitting on the counter… cold. And they gave me an apple pie, like that was gonna rectify that they forgot about me and my food was cold.

I ordered my food thru the drive thru and as I was pulling away I noticed they had forgot my sides. After I pulled out it took me almost 10 min to make it back. My food was getting cold and they didn’t even offer me to get hot food or anything.

Thr staff (at Johnston and Broussard location) here is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating to older guests who can’t work the kiosk ordering and really need human interaction.
