When I want 5 guys we Make the drive to Altoona. Much better than the State College location. Better atmosphere, friendlier staff, much better parking! I’ve never had a problem finding a parking spot. Still awesome burgers and fries!
Seen some complaining reviews about the staff and the prices. I’ve never had an issue with the staff not being friendly and working together to get you your food quickly. As far as prices go plenty of restaurants in my area that charge $18 for a cheeseburger and a handful of potato chips, so I don’t mind 5 Guys prices. Better burgers, better fries! And as far as quality and staff at the steakhouse one reviewer mentioned I’ve eaten there and I am not impressed with either staff or food, it’s one of my least favorite restaurants!

Been here several times and pretty happy with all of them but last. The place was in dire need of a clean up. It wasn’t busy so I’d assume there was time to do so. Food was great but someone definitely needed to hop in and at the very least wipe tables and get that mess off of the floor.

I would LOVE to give this establishment a 5/5 stars, especially for the workers, you guys are doing a great job. However, I saw someone be wrongfully terminated this evening and it was extremely off-putting to see. This young man was cleaning the tables (did a great job) but was hounded by two ladies for not changing the cloth to wipe each table individually, which if I’m honest, is insane. He was trying his best and was clearly doing his job. Someone, who I assume was the manager, screamed at him when the ladies complained, right in the middle of the establishment. It felt like a power trip and very unfair to not only the customers who were enjoying their meal, but the workers, who are clearly doing their best on a busy night. Typical boomer complaint followed by a young guy (who I found out was his first week on the job) getting fired on the spot. Do better, Five Guys.

This place has some pretty good burgers. The employees are all very friendly. Service is reasonably fast. It’s pretty neat that you can read where the potatoes that became your french fries have come from. It’s a little expensive, but the food is really good. So I’m my opinion it’s worth a little extra. So much better than your typical fast food burger.

They have it all! Vegetarian options are actually well thought out and put together. Wouldn’t recommend anyone with a peanut allergy to go there but everyone else should give them a go! Thanks and happy eating!
