Pollos a la Brasa is truly one of our favorite places, and it feels like home every time we go. We’ve known the family that owns it for years, and they are some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Clarabel is so sweet, and her brother is amazing— they always make you feel welcomed and appreciated.
The food is absolutely fantastic and never disappoints. Our go-to orders are the pulled pork, lemon chicken, yellow rice and beans, and the sopa de mariscos (seafood soup), which is always full of flavor and so comforting. Everything is fresh, well-seasoned, and made with love.
It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a place run by wonderful people who truly care about their customers. We will always continue to support and recommend Pollos a la Brasa to everyone. Highly recommend!

The food is fresh and seasoned well. They have the best guacamole and shrimp civeche I ever had. It was nice and chunky. It satisfied every flavor craving I needed. The chicken they chopped was so tender and fell right off the bone. I wish I lived closer to them because I would visit almost everyday. So many options of delicious cuisine at a very affordable price. Take my advice and GO. Go for me. Tell them Chrissy sent you. You won’t regret it.

my mother got the dominica breakfast and he absolutely ate it up!!
i on the other hand got breakfast #24 and it was probably the best bagel iv ever had!
we also got the avocado salad and it was good, wasn’t a lot of avocado tho a lot of the other vegetables but still good

Went last month and that’s how much I payed for rice and bistec during lunch hour. For that price I could have bought the ingredients and cooked myself a much bigger portion. Rice tasted a bit expired. Went back the other day for two empanadas which was $8 + tax in total. Which I didn’t even check the price before I ordered. Prices are ridiculous, not going back. I’m going to another Latin restaurant.

I’ve been coming here for years and as of late these people are robbing their customers blind…the server tells you one price and when you go to pay it’s double the amount..they barely give the amount of food you pay for! Won’t be coming back here! You guys lost a loyal customers hopefully other customers catch onto your tricks!

Huge selections of food. However, though it looked amazing on display but tasted very bland maybe “Healthy” low in sodium. Make sure to ask what the lunch special includes as you may be charged for extra on other selections. 3/5

One of my new favorite restaurants. They make everything good. The staff is nice and portions are generous. They have fresh juices as well as other juices (like guava, tamarind, etc.), Dominican cakes and flan, and of course all the delicious entrees.

Good food but wow the price is insane! I went in at 4:00pm and ordered one regular order of pork with rice and it was EIGHTEEN DOLLARS!! $18???? From previous reviews, it seems like they just make up the price depending on how they feel that day. Not very trustworthy.

I have lived in the community for many years and I remember this place from the time when it was a humble Mexican bakery. Unfortunately as the business has grown the prices have become too high. I was once a regular and now I very rarely stop in. The food is still tasty but it’s priced as if it’s a sit down restaurant with nice atmosphere and table service, not as a carry out.
