We visited this Mexican restaurant as a family. Overall, the experience was positive: the atmosphere was pleasant, the service attentive, and the food presentation was on point. The food itself was decent, though I personally found it a bit too greasy for my taste. Other members of my family were satisfied with their meals.

One disappointment was the absence of Tepache on the menu — I was really hoping to try it.

What a wonderful neighborhood spot! I didn’t know about this place until my friend recently invited me to eat here for lunch. It was a true delight. The patio is charming and relaxed. They have great lunch specials, and there was $1 off lunch discount, which was a great surprise. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the amble veggie options. The chips were fresh, salsa was tasty, and the rice and beans were flavorful. Definitely a good option for folks who like “Minnesota spicy” dishes, because the salsa didn’t have much kick at all, but it was still delicious. Can’t wait to come back.

It has what you want out of a Mexican restaurant: free chips and salsa at your table, lots of options, dishes with mole (I don’t see that often) but also plenty of dishes adapted to the American palate while staying true to its roots. The atmosphere is also charming. I love the murals and decor.

This is such an awesome neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Staff are always friendly and sevice is great. We love the fajitas and margaritas and really anything else we’ve ordered. It’s a nice bonus for us that they have a kids menu with American kid food (burgers, chicken strips, etc) so our little guy can also find something he likes. There’s a small parking lot and plenty of free street parking nearby.

After seeing Minnehaha Falls we were looking for a nearby place to eat and decided to check them out. Small place in a quiet neighborhood with ample street parking. It was beautiful out, so we chose a table on the patio. We all enjoyed our dinners (tacos, tostada, enchiladas) very much. Our waiter was good-natured and super helpful!
