The employees here are very friendly. I have been twice in the last few months and had good experiences. Presley at the front counter was courteous and made sure we had condiments and items needed. My food was cooked fresh as well.

Went through the drive thru October 13, 2025 while traveling from Kentucky to Missouri. We don’t have as many Long John Silvers in Missouri as we use too, so I try to grab a meal at one when out on the road. Jacqueline V was working the window. She was super friendly and genuine. Once I pulled away, I was pleasantly surprised to get the exact meal I had ordered. This seldom happens at any drive-thru’s anymore, sadly. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, which has also become a rarity at drive-thru. I felt I needed to write a review for this location and crew, because good food and service are no longer the norm. Kudo’s to the folks at the Corydon, Indiana location for doing a great job from service to food.

Went through the drive through, placed a order for 23 and some change. When we got to the window, my husband had a 50.00 bill, went to hand it to the cashier and she said ” I’m not taking that.” He asked her, so LJS no longer accepts cash? She wouldn’t answer him. He told her never mind, she asked him ” so you don’t want the food?” He replied to her, “I tried to pay for it but LJS apparently no longer takes cash, so we will take our business elsewhere.” We drove off. We will never grace a business that does not accept American currency.

I’ve always enjoyed the fish, adding A&W root beer just made it better. The lobby has suffered with the change of the time & type of customer. However, that business. The food is still the best budget seafood you can buy.

If you want food fast don’t go here. It’s not the woman’s fault that was working. Just one person doing everything takes time. We waited 15 minutes to order at drive thru speaker then waited another 20 minutes after payment for food. The food was fresh and hot but not fast

The food was good, however there was a girl who I’m assuming is a workers older kid that kept coming to our table and scaring our baby. She kept getting into her face after we had already asked her to please stop. One of the workers even asked her to please stop and she still continued. We came to the restaurant to enjoy a meal as a family, but we couldn’t even talk because this girl kept coming up to us, we even went as far as moving tables away from her.

I was so hungry for LJS fish dinner. Establishment was clean, mgnt was friendly and service was fast. The fish and hushpuppies had more breading than fish and cornbread filling, was not impressed with the meal, but I was so hungry as it was after 7pm so I didn’t complain. The coleslaw was delicious. As I was traveling thru don’t think I’ll have a chance to give this restaurant another chance.

We were greeted as soon as we came in by a very friendly young lady who also took our order. Our food was fresh and hot and very good. We ordered some to go as well. They were slightly busy, but handled it very well. Smiling the whole time, multitasking. It was only a cook and the young lady who took our order and was also handling the drive thru. I was most impressed with their patience and friendliness throughout. Neither one complained nor appeared stressed as the business smoothly flowed. I wish I knew their names, they truly deserve recognition!
