I have been, and always will be a major fan of El Burrito Azteca! I came to know the NOPO Denver location VERY WELL- and it never disappointed. Upon seeing this location my friend and I swiftly pulled over and parked and as usual- it’s a very healthy(lrg) portion, with exceptional flavors, and vibes true to the Demver spots energy. Friendly staff. Great Food. Incredibly fast order to eating time….don’t miss out on this Gem people….I promise you! It’s

stopped in for fish tacos and fantastic
I drive by this place frequently and I was headed to my favorite Mexican restaurant but I decided to stop here and I’m so happy that I did because now I want to take all my loved one’s here to enjoy flavorful food. The beans and the fajitas were fantastic and
you’ve earned my business so THANK YOU!

I will preface this review by saying I was extremely hungry and quite upset when I was walking in here. It smelled slightly of piss first of all. The prices were very high, the amount of food you get however does feel like it justifies the price as you get a large amount of food. The food was so hot it left a boil on the top of my mouth, it also seemed to be mostly bread on my tamale and hardly any meat which was upsetting but tasted good nonetheless. Overall kinda mid, I probably would have had a much better experience if I came earlier in the day and ordered a burrito as I heard they are known for them.

We came in for a late lunch to grab two burritos. The surfing California and the Azteca asada burrito with a Jarritos and water. The burritos were good, but the Surfing California was way better than the Azteca. The tortilla was fresh, the ingredients were fresh and our order was served in under 10 minutes. Parking on the street can be an issue if you come during busy hours. The sitting area was a little dirty (not bad, just needed some tables wiped down) and the space does feel cramped. Overall the value of the food was okay. For the price I did expect a bigger serving or chips included, but I’m still happy with our experience and will likely come back to try other dishes. For two burritos and a drink with a tip our bill was just over $30. We did not go into the bar attached to the restaurant but it looked clean and spacious.

A great little spot with some killer food and drinks. The avocado marg is a unique delight. All of the tacos we tried were excellent.
Great specials on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I have been on a 2 year quest to find a burrito that comes close to San Diego taco shop level and this place might be it! Super generous portion, the California burrito actually had the things it’s supposed to have, the meat was tasty, and while I was in there a woman went in who was clearly struggling and asked for food and the staff gave her a free burrito. Awesome, quick service plus compassion. I’ll be back for taco Tuesday, I saw a sign for cheap tacos and $4 coronas!

Fantastic value and options. Taco Tuesday has incredible prices, Margarita Wednesday is 2×1, and there is even a $8.75 margarita to go!
I just wish they had a location closer to my house.
Get in here and put some awesome en tu boca!

Ordered via DoorDash and the crew that prepared our bangin’ burritos on NYE (Mateo & Joaquini) were so sweet. I never know if the little messages I leave in the “special requests” boxes are going to leave any sort of impression, but I love getting responses (which is rare) and these folks sweetly left some messages back, which was awesome <3
Recommend the super Aztecs burrito with the Chile relleno inside and don’t skip out on the chips & salsa!
