Hidden Gem right across from Lake Wohlford. You get a view of the lake if you sit inside by the window. Trish, our server, was super sweet. The food was delicious, portions were large, and pricing was comparable to any other mom and pop place. Inside decor has a country by the lake feel (perfect). I’m definitely coming back and would recommend a stop here for some breakfast before spending your day by the lake.

I thought this restaurant was great! The food was good – a perfect savory/sweet combo with the pancakes and French toast. The service was good – Trish was very friendly. Our food did take a while but I think it’s kind of the norm post covid, the restaurant was quite busy when we sat down (though not completely full). I also love the decor here, am envious of the way all the vintage wood dining sets fit together.

Excellent service, beautiful views and delicious food! We drove up for Sunday breakfast and had a great experience. I got the eggs benedict with home fries. Hubby got the chicken fries steak with hash browns and sourdough.

The catfish dish is excellent, and the angus burger ( the defibrillator) is amazing.
Extra servings of catfish are 3.00, and oh boy are they good even with just a squeeze of lemon. Had a chance to meet the new owner and a few locals who told me how much better now compared to a year ago.
All i know, if I’m heading north along I 15 this place is worth a second visit!

The catfish here is amazing! I’m from Alabama and I know good catfish and this is it! Its very clean and not muddy tasting at all. Its also a pretty fun dive bar on the weekends.

I had the brisket sandwich which was good but BBQ sauce could have been a little more flavorful. Salsas and guacamole were excellent. Girlfriend had tostada which was also good. Worth a stop to try.

I had driven past LWC many times over the years and had never tried it.
A few months back we went for breakfast and had the biscuits and gravy and it was delicious!!! I think it was just as Smokey took over.
This is our breakfast a few days ago…for my birthday. Chicken Fried steak and eggs!!! The serving is perfect…just enough to need a nap ..lol.
The CFS is well seasoned and FULL of flavor with every bite, and met with eggs over easy and home fries…its perfect. Their salsa also works perfectly over the home fries for the meal. (Trust me on this)
I have yet to try the Catfish…but I cannot wait.
if you want quiet, small town diner experience with a little country radio in the backround like a diner should be…this is the spot!!! Enjoy.
