The food was outstanding from start to finish.
The grilled octopus was absolutely wonderful, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The ravioli was exceptional as well, rich and delicious. The salmon was also perfectly seasoned and cooked, very flavorful, and served with a delicious mashed potato that paired beautifully with the dish.
The desserts were amazing, the perfect ending to the meal.
But the highlight for me was the burrata. I truly love burrata and have had many, many versions over the years… and this was, without a doubt, the best burrata I have ever had in my life, by far.
Thank you for such a memorable experience on such a special evening. We will definitely be coming back.
I can’t remember the servers name, but I recall asking where he’s from and he said Croatia. He was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the menu.
He recommended the pasta of the day “a ravioli dish” and it was the best I’d ever had.
I went back the next day and had the lobster bisque soup and a cannoli.
That complimentary lemoncello shot took me out Ill definitely be back!
It wasn’t too busy during lunch, but was packed when I walked by during dinner, so I’d recommended a reservation after 5pm.
The cuisine was superb, and the atmosphere calm and relaxing. I would highly recommend this establishment for a romantic evening.
Particular thanks to Dennis for his outstanding hospitality and professionalism.
I shall certainly be returning.
Our reservation was at 9:00 pm. We were seated at 9:02 pm, and two members of our party arrived about 15 minutes later due to an emergency. No one offered us a wine list, so we had to ask for one. After it was brought to the table, no one returned for at least 10 minutes to take our order.
A tall gentleman with gray hair eventually came over, not in a friendly way, only to point out that the kitchen would close at 10:00 pm and to ask about the rest of our group. We explained they were on their way, but the tone felt unwelcoming and rushed. My mother asked if someone who spoke Spanish could help, and he repeatedly insisted on continuing in English instead of trying to accommodate her.
At that point, we decided to leave — and because it was almost 10:00 pm on New Year’s Eve, we couldn’t find another place for dinner. We ended up eating tacos near our hotel, where we received far better hospitality than at this supposedly “high-end” restaurant.
Overall, we left disappointed and disrespected. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially for a special occasion.
The restaurant is small but has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a wine bar.
I had their ‘Fettuccine alla Sorrentino’ and my husband had their ‘Carbonara’. For dessert, we had a ‘Sorbet’ and ‘Cannoli’. Food tasted fresh and was really good. However, I felt all was a bit overpriced for what it was. We had wine and were asked if we wanted ‘still’ or ‘sparkling’ water, so we opted for ‘still’. To my surprise, they added a $9 cost to my bill for the water (that I didn’t ask for). I had never been charged for water no matter how boujee the restaurant is. Another thing I did not like was the forced, automatic 20% tip on our bill for a party of 2, especially because I don’t know how to feel about the service. It felt a bit awkward with the man who served us. Had no personality and seemed offended with our menu questions, as if we’re supposed to know.
Overall, we did enjoy the food but will not return during our stay based on this experience.
