Great pizza, the crust is just the right thinness, the sauce and cheese are perfect, with fresh toppings. I like how the pizzas are displayed and the variety of pizzas. I also think the price is right. I get the 10.00 dollar special, two slices and a drink. I do not live in the area but I pass by the restaurant a few times a month and I always stop in for a slice. I am also a combat veteran, and I love supporting another veteran who is busting his hump to put out a great product. I wish you continued success, God Bless you, and God Bless America.

Wow. As a European spoiled by authentic pizza, I honestly didn’t expect to find anything this good in the US But this place proved me wrong in the best way possible! Delicious pizza, super friendly staff, and a clean, spacious atmosphere. Easily one of the best pizza spots I’ve tried here!

Came here for the first time with my wife and daughter. The people working were so welcoming and warm towards us and especially my daughter. My 3 year old really wanted to say thank you and let them know how good their pizza was but the shy bug bit her. To the two amazing ladies working Monday night you guys were great. The Margherita pizza was amazing, same as the habanero chicken. Wow. We all loved it. No wonder youre so highly rated. Best crust style too. 10/10. Thank you again, cant wait until next time. I would’ve taken photos but before we knew it the slices were gone 🙂

Paid a visit on August 2nd for the first time. Loved the general ambiance with its patriotic memorabilia and internal decor, which gave it a pleasant and nostalgic atmosphere. Displayed on trays behind a glass facade is a variety of different pizza slices. I tried the sausage, pepperoni, and margarita slices.
The margarita slice was quite elegant and was absolutely my favorite slice, with the sausage slice being a very close runner-up. Loved the foldable, droopy, cracker-thin dough with its superb crunch. It had sweet, savory, and delightfully tangy pizza sauce, which was a wonderful blend of fragrant tomatoes, garlic, and herbs. The crust was perfect and was both crunchy and faintly chewy. The aromatic, succulent, and dense mozzarella slices were perfectly spaced apart and set atop a layer of that amazing pizza sauce with chopped fresh basil generously sprinkled all around the pie. The sausage was a perfect, juicy, meat and herb blend that harmonized the entire slice into a delicious, heavenly nirvana. The pepperoni was also pretty good. They were all fantastic, and I’m looking forward to trying out the other different slices. Each slice was nice, and for 5 bucks thrice, you get a savory, superb, satisfying meal.
Edit: Overall, this has been a fantastic culinary experience. I will betray my nature as a lifelong northside Chicagoan and humbly admit, without any shame, that I now prefer east-coast style pizza over any variation of pizza that the Second City has to offer. But with that said, the sudden spike in their prices makes The Slice Spot significantly less desirable. I was a habitual weekend patron for the past few months, but with their prices increasing recently, perhaps a visit once a month, if that, may be a more financially viable option. Cheers, Slice Spot, but happy trails for now. I’ll see ya when I see ya.

If we could give this place 10 stars, we would. The pizza is great, and there’s a huge selection of toppings. They have pre-made thin crust pizzas, and they take your order and do a quick bake, so it tastes fresh out of the oven, without a long wait. They also have a lot of hot sauces and other sauces and toppings to dress up your slices yourself. The manager is so kind to our kids, we’ve made this a regular place for us. It’s a great deal, and we all look forward to coming back!

Really nice to have a great new york style pizza spot! My 3 and 6 year olds loved it having only had chicago style and typical thin crust. They even master their ‘New york pizza fold’! The pie was great, will be back!

We have Been looking for a good pizza place in the area & we finally found one.. Being from Brooklyn NY once we seen them it was a must try.. We tried 4 different slices of pizza & all of them were amazing Definitely would recommend them..

We used to order a half margherita and half chi-town pizza every once in awhile prior to the new ownership. The pizza was never soggy and the crust was always crispy. This pizza soaked through the pizza box. This is probably due to the amount of liquid in the toppings, but we had no issue previously. The margherita half always had fresh basil too, but this one came with no basil. The pizza had a good outside crust, but the rest of it was very soggy. The service was nice and the restaurant looked more welcoming. The new owners are probably still adjusting, so this may not be a typical experience.

Went here the other day before attending a show at the WC Social Club. The staff was very friendly, the menu had a large variety of things I want to come back and try, the atmosphere was fun and homey, and the food tasted fresh and high quality. It’s hard to find an affordable yummy slice of pizza these days, but these guys did it easily. I look forward to coming back and trying the other pizza options. The fries were also very tasty, and a large portion for the price which I appreciated. 10/10!
