Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This Whataburger is always so good! Food is always super fresh. I usually mobile order and my order is always perfect, fresh, and ready when I get there. Even huge orders, always correct. All of the employees are super kind. The manager there today, Emmanuel, was such a delight and made my rough morning so much better.

Ok, I’m from Texas and I’m usually disappointed that other states don’t hold the same standard, but this Whataburger was great! Just like Corpus Christi. The service was great too, the guy at the window was nice and I got my free veterans coffee which tastes great. If you love Whataburger then go here, they take pride in the preparation and service.

Emanuel, that was visiting, was thrilled about his job. Literally! You don’t find that much in fast food. The two ladies that normally work the drive thru in the mornings are wonderful as well. Definitely one of my better experiences with fast food.

This Hazel Green location has become my favorite Whataburger in the area, and a big reason why is the outstanding service. The cashier (I wish I’d caught his name but he was wearing a hat) was an absolute pleasure to work with. He had great conversational skills and made the whole ordering experience enjoyable, keeping things friendly and engaging. What really impressed me was his knowledge of the menu; he was incredibly helpful in explaining different items and making recommendations. It’s rare to find someone who’s both personable and knowledgeable, and it made a real difference in my visit. If you’re choosing between Whataburger locations, this is definitely the one to hit!

This place is the worst for doordash pickups. It’s only one cook everytime I come in to pick up an order. If the pay wasn’t so good for the orders I pick up, I would avoid this place simply because of the wait times and service.
