We’ve driven a bazillion times by Deck House Tavern, and every time we say, “Look at that spot! The view must be amazing. Let’s go one day!” Well, we finally made it happen, and we loved it! I seriously can’t wait to go back.
Located in Windham and next to a go-kart + mini-golfing spot, odds are you’ve also driven by this restaurant. The views from the deck are spectacular, and I can’t wait to go back during the fall foliage season. The indoor space is also lovely — it feels like a giant cabin! We loved the vibe: it’s cozy, lowkey, and casual, which is precisely what we were looking for.
The service was excellent from the minute we walked inside. The hostess was accommodating when we asked to sit at a different table (better views!), and our waitress was kind and constantly checking on us.
The menu was more extensive than we expected. They have it all — an impressive starters section, plenty of pub/tavern food, and even dinner plates. They also had a full cocktail menu (all reasonably priced), plenty of local beers, and wines. We had the strawberry margarita with jalapeño-infused tequila ($10), and it was delicious (albeit a bit small for a marg, but it was also only ten bucks). Our burgers ($18) were great, but unfortunately, a bit overcooked. The fries were just okay, nothing to write home about, and portion-wise, smaller than what we expected. We also ordered their four-cheese macaroni as a starter, and that was delicious!
Overall, however, we enjoyed our time and can’t wait to return!

Great place to have a delightful and delicious meal before or after your time racing on the track, enjoying the water in Seacoast Adventure Waterpark. It is open to the public. You do not have to visit the park to partake in a meal. They’re open year-round. They also have a tubing area during the wintertime. Plenty of parking. They do have takeaway ordering. Multiple TVs in the dining area. Outdoor seating as well. The servers were very pleasant and professional.

We have been to this place a few times. The food was good, they are very fast and it’s hot. The service was ok, we didn’t get side plate with our apps and no extra napkins. I guess I should have asked about the side plate and more napkins, as a past server, I feel like it’s the job of the server to be on top of the things that might be needed. The vide is always laid back and the bar is fast with the drinks so no waiting on that. Over all I would go back and order the poutine and beer. They had a good selection and it’s pretty kid friendly.

Went here with my friend for their birthday lunch. Drink and food was delicious, bit expensive but totally worth it!
Service was really good, they checked up on us a few times but not to often. Made sure we had plenty of water as well to balance our cocktails.
Wouldn’t mind coming back, though I don’t expect I will do it too often. (Not service or food related, I just don’t go this way often)

Went for lunch. It was steady with customers but not full. Service was a bit slow however I attribute it to having lighter staff on for a Sunday lunch. Would go back. Food came out hot.

We came in with a party of 8, and although the online booking showed no waitlist, we were told we’d need to wait 40 minutes because “the kitchen would be backed up.” Meanwhile, the restaurant was nearly empty, with more than three waitresses standing around. What made it worse was how dismissive the staff were — they didn’t acknowledge us or make any effort to accommodate. It left us feeling singled out, especially since our entire group is Latino. Whether intentional or not, it was extremely discouraging and unwelcoming.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The waitress stole almost $4 from me and didn’t mention it. My bill was $46.17. I paid with a hundred dollar bill. She gave me $50 back in all 5s. She just dropped the money back off and disappeared. She didn’t mention anything about being out 1s or keeping money as an “automatic tip”. I would make sure to carefully count your money before you leave. I will never be going back.

Staff are great. Typical pub food. Regulars (I’m one) are friendly and welcoming. Like all restaurants and pubs, they recently experienced some turnover in their kitchen staff. They’ve recently brought in two new chefs, and already I’ve seen an increase in both speed and quality. Last night I had the Bavette steak, which is new to the menu. It came out a perfect medium, resting in a routine sauce. The flavor was amazing, and 3 people sitting near me said they were getting that the next time they are there. The staff are friendly and work hard to make your experience a positive one. Great place to hang out and watch a game. It’s quickly become on of my favorites.
