This place feels very welcoming and relaxed, perfect for spending time with family. It was great to see that kids and dogs are welcome, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The staff kindly offered tasting samples before ordering, making it easy to choose a cider that suited my taste.

This place is awesome and I would’ve easily given 5 stars but I didn’t really enjoy any of the ciders I tried…they lacked flavor and none of the four I tasted were sweet enough. I’m not a fan of super sugary drinks, but need at least a tinge of sweetness—which the ciders here were lacking.
Everything else was great—servers were very friendly, large indoor and outdoor space, food truck on site, very dog friendly (indoor and outdoor), clean bathrooms, etc.
I love cider and want to love their cider—will give it another try. Regardless of the cider, it’s a great place to spend an afternoon and play games/have strangers give your dog attention

Yellow Door Concert Series had some great jazz music playing at the Lost Boy Cider last night. That created a cool vibe to hang out in. Lots of ciders to choose from. My favorite was the hot gingerbread cider – yum! There is a self-service water cooler adjacent to the bar.
The bartenders were very friendly and provided quick service. They offered tastes/samples of the various ciders to help you decide what flavor to get.
Seating options are benches, stools at high top tables, or regular chairs at tables.
There is a bookshelf with boardgames to play, which is always fun!
Dog friendly place with some sweet, adorable dogs to watch.
Plenty of free parking in the lot adjacent to bar. Looks as if in warmer weather there are garage doors to open access and some outside seating.
Food is provided by food trucks. I didn’t have anything but other people’s food looked good.
Nice that there are cans to go and other merchandise that you can purchase.
There was also a calendar of fun events like yoga & cider… Definitely check this place out!

It was our first time here and we got a table! My fiancé and dad ordered flights to sample and I was feeling bold and ordered a glass of the Stick season (I believe it’s called) which was honestly in my opinion one of the best ones! It was so good my dad bought cans to go home with! We also liked the gingerbread! These ciders were definitely a little more sweet compared to their other ones but way less sweet than most ciders out there! It was a cool place to visit in between doing activities at the National Harbor!

Lost Boy is my favorite spot in Alexandria! You won’t find any other ciders like theirs, not too sweet and they always have so many fun and rotating flavors. The staff are all incredible and friendly, and they always have great recommendations. My fiancé and I love them so much that we’re having our wedding reception here.
They also host lots of other community events that support local, small businesses and they have a pretty good variety of food trucks at the cidery.
UPDATE (4/7/24): My husband and I had our wedding reception at Lost Boy Cider on 4/2, and they truly made it so magical and special for us. From working with us every step of the way to ensure our vision came to life to developing a custom cider for us to bringing everything to life on the day, they were absolutely fabulous to work with! You really went above and beyond to make us feel so loved by the LBC family. Thank you SO much! Our guests had a blast and commented on how magical everything looked and how amazing the cider was. We are so lucky to have friends like you! ❤️

Great place is you like cider. They don’t add sugar so all ciders are on the dry side which I like. There were a good selection available. They have sample sizes so you can try a few before committing to a glass. A food truck outside on a Saturday evening visit although we didn’t try it. Plenty of parking with a short walk. They also sell cans of cider to take home.

Just found this place and it’s incredible. Great vibe, great location, relaxing, and I’ve never seen so many different types of cider. Some not so sweet, which is my personal preference. Really delicious. Definitely worth checking out and hanging out for a while.

Lost Boy was a super laid back environment with a huge cider selection including dessert ciders and frozen cider. We loved that they are family oriented so you can bring your kid as well as your dog. They allowed for a small sample of the ciders prior to purchase which helped me to narrow down my selection easier. We will definitely be back again!

Decided that I am not a Cider Guy. Lost Boy Cider has a very good atmosphere (love that they let friendly dogs come on to the establishment) and a good staff but after a third visit (our boys like the Ciders) I decided I prefer Breweries and Wineries over a Cider place. Interesting variety of ciders but honestly, they all tasted pretty much the same, except for the one with habaneros, or some kind of pepper infusion. Taste more like a sparkling water or seltzer to me than any other cider I’ve tasted before. They all lacked any kind of sweetness and bordered on overly sour or tart. Probably won’t be back again. The Food Truck during this last visit was really good though. The Shawarma was tops.

Drove down from Annapolis, stopped and got food, arrived at Lost Boys at 7:00 when they’re listing as closing at 8 and was told they decided to close early (which all the chairs were already up on the tables and it looked mostly cleaned up already so they must have started some time ago). I mean I understand if it was 30 min or so (I used to work in a restaurant and we would close early if it was dead) but a full hour seemed a bit crazy. There was a few more people that walked in about the same time as me and we all got turned away. I guess just make sure you arrive atleast 2 hours or more before they close to ensure they’re actually open.
Was excited to stop by the place but definitely not going out of my way again to stop by this place. It did look nice inside.
