Ever since my husband and I moved here from TX we’ve been searching for a place that serves Birrias so when this place opened up we got excited! Today we did a pick up order of their Birrias. We got home and I was so disappointed. They were so small, single tortilla and lack flavor! The beans looked and tasted straight out of a can and they tasted burnt. The rice has no flavor at all I think it may have been out of a box or microwave to be honest. This is heart breaking considering that they’re $16.99 per plate! So needless to say we won’t be back and our search continues!

A nice option for Mexican compared to similar places. I’m from Oklahoma where Mexican food is supreme, and it’s been hard to find a substitute here. I’ve eaten here a few times for lunch and service is fast and the food is decent. The salsa is bit too “marinara” and the sides are small portions but otherwise the food I’ve eaten has been adequate. One time their credit card machines were down and they were kind enough to just tell us to come back whenever to pay. Very trusting! We immediately went home to get cash since we live right down the street.

Found out this restaurant opened on Facebook. We decided to give it a try and we were thoroughly impressed. Our server, Mekhi, was fantastic. The birria fries were to die for. Our daughter had the quesadilla and loved it. My fiancé had the grilled fish tacos which were also excellent. The prices are more affordable than other Mexican restaurants in the area. We will definitely be returning.

Such a friendly welcoming environment! We’ve been a few times already and will absolutely keep coming back.
Staff is kind and attentive and food is great. We had nachos when we visited today and the portion was huge. Margaritas are just what this town needed!

First time here today and it’s awesome the service the food the surroundings just amazing my food came out super fast and fresh. The salsa and chips are the best I’ve had yet. I’m so glad mecate is in Albion will be a customer here forever. I wish this business success and growth for many years to come!!

I have already been here twice since they opened. My family will definitely be regulars at this location! The food is absolutely delicious, fresh and the portions are gigantic. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is very kind, both waitresses that we’ve had were great. Our waitress today brought my dad this dessert for his birthday and we thought that was so sweet. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a great experience. Albion definitely needed this restaurant and I can’t wait to see them thrive ☺️

I’m sorry but the only good thing about this place was the pretty lady standing at the door waiting for a table for about 3 or 4 minutes with her daughter in an otherwise unoccupied dining floor. Ordered a taco, 3 enchiladas and a quesadilla to go. The beef was bland, no seasoning, same as the taco. Flavorless. The store bought quesadilla shell had about 2 ozs. of chicken and a little cheese plopped in the center period! No sour cream for dipping and also flavorless. The enchilada shell was like wet news paper, gross. Even the chips and salsa were bla. I thought Mexican food was about the delicious spices. I guess they didn’t get that memo

Nice atmosphere, Appropriate portions, Calassic Mojito and the Italian Margarita we exceptional. Im kind of a snob with mojitos and it was great. For food i had the street tacos and it hit the spot. Listening to others in the restaurant im hearing its soo good and ill be back. All that is very true and I will be back as well. My server/ tender “Fabrecio” was top notch, accomidating, attentive and friendly. COME CHECK IT OUT FOR YOUR SELF!
